PFL Week 6 Breakdown

  • Date: March 25, 2022
  • Location: Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida
  • Watch: Fubo Sports Network at 9 PM ET

Bevon Lewis (7-3-0) vs Marcelo Nunes (7-1-0)

Lewis and Nunes are headlining this event, most likely due to their previous experience fighting professionally. Lewis had previously fought in the UFC and has moved up two weight classes to join the heavyweight ranks.

Nunes has competed with Legacy FC and CFFC, making him a solid opponent in this matchup. Lewis arguably has the bigger name and why he opened up as a favorite, despite coming off of a recent loss

Giacomo Lemos (7-0-0) vs Brett Martin (10-1-0)

Lemos and Martin make up the co-main event, which should be an exciting showdown between two heavy hitters. Lemos has yet to lose a fight and is a solid threat to end any battle early with his strong knockout power.

However, this is Martin’s fight to lose. He is one of the best heavyweight fighters around that has yet to sign a contract. He arguably deserves the chance, but of course he needs to take care of business first.

Chad Johnson (6-3-0) vs Adam Keresh (4-0-0)

Keresh has three straight Bellator battles under his belt and two of them were against experienced fighters. On top of that, he has finished three out of his four victories by a first round knockout.

Johnson has the most experience, with a 6-2 amateur record and his current 6-3 professional record. However, he has lost three out of his last four fights. Two of those were first-round knockouts and his last one was an illegal soccer kick.

Daiqwon Buckley (1-0-0) vs Jon Cunningham (1-0-0)

This is the first battle of the night and it could be a toss-up. They both have very little fighting experience professionally to go off of. Buckley won his battle in the LFA by unanimous decision and Cunningham won by a first-round knockout.

Odds for PFL Week 6

The market has some matchups coming in close, while others showcase moderate favorites. For the moneylines, MyBookie has the odds currently placed at:

  • Bevon Lewis +130 vs Marcelo Nunes -160
  • Brett Martin -145 vs Giacomo Lemos +115
  • Adam Keresh -210 vs Chad Johnson +160
  • Daiqwon Buckley +150 vs Jon Cunningham -180

Potential Winning Picks

Most likely, one of these favorites will not succeed on the night. Lewis and Nunes could go either way, but Nunes is likable here. Buckley and Cunningham could end by decision, but Cunningham is slightly more appealing.
