Kyle Busch

Well, damn…it’s no wonder that Kyle Busch is the prohibitive favorite, seeing as how he’s won three races this season in Phoenix, California and most recently, Bristol, two weeks ago. In nine starts, Busch has finished inside the Top 10 every single time while racking up a half-dozen Top 5 finishes. Still, it’s early, so, you just never know, but make no mistake about it, Busch is looking good.

Kevin Harvick

In nine races this season, Kevin Harvick has seven Top 10 finishes, a quartet of Top 5 finishes. Although he has yet to find his way into the winner’s circle, Harvick has a pair of stage wins and currently sits in fourth place in the NASCAR standings, just 51 points behind Cup-leading Busch.

Joey Logano

The 2018 NASCAR champ has a half-dozen Top 10 finishes, five Top 5 finishes, four stage wins and one victory in Las Vegas. Logano is just 20 points behind Kyle Busch and looks like a sure-fire pick to contend for back-to-back NASCAR titles.

Brad Keselowski

Keselowski is currently in fifth place in the NASCAR standings, but he’s also got a pair of victories in Atlanta and at Martinsville. Keselowski also has racked up a pair of stage wins, five Top 10 finishes and four Top 5 finishes. With Kyle Busch being the only driver with more victories at this point of the season, I am fully and completely expecting Brad Keselowski to contend for the outright championship win.

Martin Truex Jr.

In nine starts this season, Martin Truex Jr. has six Top 10 finishes, a trio of Top 5 finishes and one victory last weekend at Richmond. The 2017 NASCAR champ still has plenty of time to make up ground on the standings leaders and his title win two years ago means he could most certainly pull off the Cup-winning feat again in 2019.

Denny Hamlin

Hamlin might have the sixth-best odds to win it all this year, but he’s looking like a very solid value-packed pick to me, seeing as how he’s got eight Top 10 finishes in eight races this season, not to mention six Top 5 finishes and a pair of victories in the prestigious Daytona 500 and at Texas Motor Speedway three weeks back.
