NASCAR 25th Annual Baptist Health 200 – Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series

Written by on June 11, 2020

With the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series heading to Homestead-Miami Speedway for their fifth race of 2020 season, it’s time to take a look at which drivers are offering the best value against their race day odds. The 25th Annual Baptist Health 200 will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the 1.5-mile oval in the Sunshine State. 40 trucks are entered for the fun-filled event, meaning all entries to make the race are covered like a blanket. With that said, let’s find out which of my top eight drivers are looking like possible winners so you can make your bets against their NASCAR odds.

Top Eight Picks to Win 2020 Baptist Health 200

8. Chase Elliott +330

Elliott will drive the No. 24 for GMS Racing and he’s looking great right now after taking the checkered flag at Charlotte just two weeks ago on May 26. Elliott finished a distant 21s last weekend in Atlanta, but he has the look of a top five finisher to me heading into this event.

7. Brett Moffitt +1200

Moffitt, who sits in fourth place in the Truck Series standings, finished 13th at Daytona, 16th in Vegas, fourth in Charlotte and eighth in Atlanta. A top five finish is looking like a strong possibility here and a win is certainly not out of the question.

6. Ross Chastain +2000

Chastain has a pair of top 10 finishes by ending up eighth in Daytona and sixth in last weekend’s race in Atlanta. In between, he also finished 14th in Las Vegas and 11th in Charlotte.

5. Christian Eckes +2000

Eckes is in sixth place in the standings and is driving better after a slow start that saw him finish 22nd and 23rd in the first two races of the season. Eckes finished 14th in Charlotte two weeks back before finishing third in Atlanta last weekend.

4. Kyle Busch -160

Busch won the second event in the Truck Series by taking the checkered flag at Las Vegas back on Feb. 21.

Busch also led most of the way at Atlanta last weekend before suffering some late issues that caused him to finish 22nd. The prohibitive favorite is the most talented driver in the field and he’ll have a great shot to win it because of that fact.

Busch will drive his self-owned No. 51.

3. Johnny Sauter +2500

While Sauter struggled in finishing 17th last weekend in Atlanta, he did finish seventh in the first and third races of the season at Daytona and Charlotte respectively while also finishing a stupendous second in Las Vegas.

2. Austin Hill +1200

Hill, who sits in first place in the Truck Series standings, finished sixth in the season-opening race at Daytona. He backed that performance up by finishing third in Las Vegas, ninth in the post coronavirus restart at Charlotte two weeks ago before finishing a stellar second last weekend in Atlanta. Four races, four Top 5 finishes and a pair of Top 3 efforts has Hill looking great for the win in Miami.

My Winner

Grant Enfinger +2800

So what Enfinger finished a dismal 31st in Las Vegas in the second race of the year? He also took the checkered flag in the season opener at Daytona and last weekend at Atlanta as he currently sits in third place in the standings. For me, Enfinger is offering more value than any other driver in this coming weekend’s event!
