Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200 – Saturday at 12:30 PM EST

This is the first of the 4 races that remain in the Xfinity Series regular season, so it’s all about getting points and moving up as high as possible in the driver standings. 12 drivers will head into the playoffs, with Austin Cindric and Chase Briscoe still being the drivers to catch at the top of the standings. It may well be Briscoe who has the edge this weekend, as he is the only full-time driver in the series who has a win at Darlington.

South Carolina Education Lottery 200

By the end of next week, we will know the 10 drivers heading into the playoffs in the Truck Series. We have this race first and then another next Thursday, after which the playoffs will get underway. It is a ridiculously tight battle at the top, and there is a better than average chance that we are going to see some changes in the standings over the next couple of races.

Cook Out Southern 500

The playoffs are here, and we are down to the final 16 drivers, all looking to win the NASCAR Cup Series. No one will be eliminated this weekend, but the drivers down near the bottom of the pack will want to make sure that they do enough to stay within reach of the next cut. Let’s take a peek at some of the favorites.

Kevin Harvick (+275)

While there are 15 other drivers in with a shot at winning it all this season, they are all going to be hard pressed to catch Kevin Harvick at the top of the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings. Harvick has 7 wins on the season, but he has also landed in the top 10 in 21 of the 27 races thus far. If he can maintain that level of consistency, the championship is his. He has been in the top 10 in 9 straight races at Darlington, including 2 wins and 8 top 5s.

Denny Hamlin (+300)

If anyone can catch Harvick this season, it would be Denny Hamlin, who has 6 wins on the season. He is sitting just off the pace, but given how Harvick is going, you have to think that Hamlin needs a couple more wins to keep the pressure on. He won at Darlington last season and has a pair of wins there since 2017.

Martin Truex Jr. (+650)

Truex Jr. is down in 6th in the standings and could use a win to move up the ranks a little. He does have a win at Darlington, although that came in 2016. He has not had a ton of joy at this track since then.
