NASCAR 2022 Cup Series: Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Betting Odds & Analysis

Written by on March 18, 2022

We are one month into the 2022 NASCAR season, and you have to say that we have yet to have one driver really stamp their authority on things. We have had 4 races and 4 different winners, so we should perhaps be expecting the unexpected when the Cup Series rolls into Atlanta this weekend for the next race on the schedule. Given how things have gone in the opening weeks of the season, we are seeing changes to the driver standings after every race. Right now, it is Joey Logano sitting on top, but will he still be there after all is said and done this coming Sunday? Only time will tell, but for now, let’s take a peek at some of the favorites for the QuikTrip 500 so you can get ready to make your bets against their NASCAR Betting Odds.

NASCAR Cup Series Betting Preview for Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Race

Ryan Blaney (+1000)

This may not be the driver you expected to see as the favorite for this weekend, but Blaney is off to a decent start this season and also has a good history at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Right now, Blaney is down in 7th in the driver standings after 4 races. He does not have a podium finish in that mix, but he does have a couple of top 5 runs to his name. It is perhaps because of what he did in Atlanta last season that he is considered the favorite here. He won this corresponding race in 2021 and went on to finish 5th in the second run at Atlanta last year. Certainly worth a look here.

Kyle Larson (+1100)

It has been a strange kind of start to the season for the defending champion. On either side of 2 very good runs, including his first win of the season, Larson has delivered a pair of not so great performances. It’s tough to know what to expect from him this weekend, but he did have a solid run in Atlanta last season, finishing 2nd in this race, while running 18th in his second effort in the Peach City. He has not quite yet hit the form of his championship winning run last year, but he always has to be considered a threat.

Chase Elliott (+1200)

If there is one thing that you can guarantee for this race, it’s that the Georgia driver is going to have an awful lot of fans pulling for him up in the stands. Elliott is very much a fan favorite across the board, and while he has yet to deliver a win this season, he is doing his now familiar job of racking up point and staying up among the leaders in the driver standings, where he is currently 3rd. He did not race particularly well in Atlanta in this race last year, but he did have a top 10 finish in his second run.

Denny Hamlin (+1200)

Hamlin has been the nearly man over the last 3 seasons, making it all the way to the final four in the playoffs, only to come up short in the final race of the year. It has been a disappointing start to the 2022 season for Hamlin, who has yet to even crack the top 10 through the opening 4 races. That might change this weekend, though, as he finished 4th in this corresponding race last year. Definitely worth taking a chance on at these odds.
