The 2022 Cup Series season has just recently finished, with Joey Logano winning the championship. There is not much time to rest, though, as the schedule for the 2023 season has already been announced. There will be a couple of duels in Daytona and a warmup race at the Coliseum before the season begins with the Daytona 500. There are 36 total races, which includes the playoff races. Let’s quickly break down the upcoming schedule so you can start planning your bets against the NASCAR Odds.

2023 NASCAR Cup Series Schedule Betting Rundown

February

As mentioned, we have a trio of clashes and duel races in the month of February, but the real business begins in Daytona:

  • Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway – Feb 19
  • NASCAR Cup Series Race at Auto Club Speedway – Feb 26

March

It’s pretty much non-stop all the way, with 4 races coming in the month of March, which are as follows:

  • Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – Mar 5
  • Ruoff Mortgage 500 at Phoenix Raceway – Mar 12
  • Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway – Mar 19
  • EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas – Mar 26

April

It’s an absolutely jam-packed month, with 5 races on the schedule:

  • Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway – Apr 2
  • Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway – Apr 9
  • NASCAR Cup Series Race at Martinsville – Apr 16
  • Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway – Apr 23
  • NASCAR Cup Series Race at Dover – Apr 30

May

The month of May is split up a little with the All-Star race as part of the mix. Those races are as follows:

  • Advent Health 400 at Kansas Speedway – May 7
  • NASCAR Cup Series Race at Darlington – May 14
  • NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway – May 21
  • Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway – May 28

June

A bit of a quieter month that includes a bye week of sorts:

  • Enjoy Illinois 300 at Worldwide Technology Raceway – Jun 4
  • Toyota/SaveMart 350 at Sonoma Raceway – Jun 11
  • Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway – Jun 25

July

The action comes thick and fast in the month of July, with 5 races in the schedule, which are:

  • NASCAR Cup Series Race at Chicago Street Course – Jul 2
  • Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway – Jul 9
  • Crayon 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway – Jul 16
  • M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400 at Pocono Raceway – Jul 23
  • NASCAR Cup Series Race at Richmond – Jul 30

August

This is the final month of the regular season, with 4 more races to come before the playoffs begin:

  • Firekeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway – Aug 6
  • Version 200 at the Brickyard – Aug 13
  • Go Bowling at the Glen – Aug 20
  • Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway – Aug 27

Playoffs

All the playoff action begins in the month of September, so let’s quickly break down the format and the dates:

  • Round of 16 – 3 races on September 3, 10, and 16
  • Round of 12 – 3 races on September 24, and October 1 and 8
  • Round of 8 – 3 races on October 15, 22, and 29
  • Cup Series Championship race – November 5
