NASCAR 2022 Pit Boss 250 Betting Odds & Favorites

Written by on March 24, 2022

It has been a strange sort of start to the NASCAR season, with surprise results very much the order of the day. This weekend, the drivers will head to the Circuit of the Americas road course in Austin, Texas for what should be a very interesting challenge. After a break in the Truck Series, all three series will be on the course this weekend, and you can bet that we will have all the action covered. For the purposes of this piece, we are going to stick with the Xfinity Series as they get set for the Pit Boss 250. Given how things have gone, maybe we should expect the unexpected, but either way, let’s take a look at the current favorites for this race so you can bet against the NASCAR Xfinity Series Betting Odds.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Betting Preview for Pit Boss 250 Race

AJ Allmendinger (+200)

Given that we don’t get a lot of road course races during the season, it stands to reason that one of the most experienced guys in the Xfinity Series would be in as the favorite. After all, Allmendinger has been around and probably has more races on these types of tracks than most. Allmendinger made it all the way to the final four last season in his first full-time run in the Xfinity Series, so expect him to challenge again this season. While he didn’t win at the COA track last season, he did manage to finish 2nd, so a definite threat on Saturday.

Ty Gibbs (+300)

While Allmendinger brings all the experience in the world to the track, Gibbs is still very much in the early days as a pro driver, although you have to say his future looks very bright. He only raced sparingly in the Xfinity Series last season, yet he still managed to pick up 4 wins on the year. He already has 2 wins through the first 5 races of the season, so it certainly looks as though he is more than ready to take a run at winning the championship in 2022. Gibbs did not race at COA last season, but given his overall track record, he needs to be among the favorites.

Justin Allgaier (+1200)

As good and consistent as Allgaier has been over the years, you do have to feel some level of sympathy for him, as he has yet to pick up a championship. He is still looking for his first win of the season, but he has finished in the top 10 in 4 of the 5 races to this point in the season, which is exactly what you would expect from a consistently good driver. He was in the mix at COA last season, staying with the leaders and eventually finishing 3rd, so it would not be a huge surprise to see him win on Saturday.

Noah Gragson (+1200)

With each passing season in the Xfinity Series, Gragson has seen his final position improve. Given that trend, he could well be on pace to win it all this season. He is certainly starting out with that intention, as he has picked up a win and sits atop the driver standings after the first 5 races. Gragson has been on the podium 4 times this season, including once as a winner, and while he is among the favorites this weekend, it is worth noting that he has a poor run at COA last season.
