Chicago At Golden State Spread, Expert Pick & TV Info

Written by on February 7, 2017

Imagine being the team that set the single season record in terms of wins and losses, only to find that you need to go into the next season with a chip on your shoulder and something to prove. That is exactly what the Golden State Warriors are dealing with this season, but it could have been a very different story indeed. Not only did the Dubs set the single season record for wins in the NBA, they were also up 3-1 in the Finals versus the Cavaliers. It looked like a dream season was about to be capped off with a championship, but LeBron and company had different ideas, winning 3 straight to steal the crown. The Warriors fumed in the offseason, and even strengthened an already stunningly good squad by acquiring Kevin Durant from OKC. This team looks primed for another big run, and they are once again churning out wins at a ridiculous rate. They will have a tough one to look forward to on Wednesday with the Chicago Bulls coming to town. Find the updated NBA betting lines here.

In Depth Analysis On The Bulls At Warriors Spread, Expert Pick & TV Info

Why bet on the Chicago Bulls

The biggest issue for the Chicago Bulls this season has been finding any sort of consistency. They are the epitome of a .500 team, and just seem unable to put together a winning run that might put them in a better position than their current #7 seed in the Eastern Conference. The good news for the Bulls heading into this one is that they have, for the most part, managed to hold their own against teams above .500, posting an 11-12 record versus that group. They also have a pretty decent record versus the Warriors in recent years, although they did lose both meetings last season, which is not a major surprise given how things went for Golden State.

Why bet on the Golden State Warriors

The Warriors are coming off one of their rare losses on the season, a 109-106 OT defeat at the hands of the Sacramento Kings. That was the 8th loss on the year for the Dubs, but it should be noted that they have yet to lose back to back games this season, so chalk that trend up in their favor heading into this one. Golden State are a ridiculously good 22-3 at home this season, but have not had it all their way in their own building versus the Bulls, who are surprisingly 2-2 at the Oracle Arena in their last 4 visits. That said, this is a very different Warriors team from those of years past, so that stat may mean very little.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

The one thing that stands out to me heading into this one is that the Warriors simply don’t drop back to back games. I think they will bounce back nicely here, and will come away with a comfortable win.
