They finish off their regular-season series on Wednesday night with the Suns as home favorites on the NBA odds as the Clippers might be down both their superstars.

The Clippers lead 2-0. They last played on April 8 in L.A. and the Clips prevailed 113-103. Paul George scored 33 points and Kawhi Leonard added 27. Los Angeles trailed 67-61 with eight minutes remaining in the third quarter before coming back with an 8-2 run to tie it. It led 83-81 at the end of the third quarter before opening the fourth with a 10-2 run to seize control. The Clippers’ largest lead was 16 points late in the fourth. There were three technical fouls, two flagrant fouls and a pair of ejections in the final 24 minutes. The Suns made 27 of their first 40 shots, but were 9 of 31 after their hot start. Devin Booker scored 24 points to lead the Suns. LA has won 16 of the last 18 in the series.

Why Bet on LA Clippers? | NBA Betting Lines

The Clippers had a four-game winning streak snapped Monday in a 120-103 upset loss in New Orleans playing again without star Kawhi Leonard – and he probably won’t play here, either. The Clippers, who will likely finish the season as the greatest high-volume three-point-shooting team in NBA history, shot just 31% from deep, while the Pelicans, who rank 25th in three-point percentage, knocked down 15 of their 29 attempts, good for 51.7%.

Also Monday, the Clips were without Luke Kennard (rest), Patrick Beverley (fractured hand) and Serge Ibaka (lower back tightness) with their long-term injuries. Ibaka has begun practicing in 4-on-4 drills, but still has no timetable for a return.

Nicolas Batum suffered a shoulder injury on Monday and was unable to finish the game, finishing with three points in just 14 minutes. Paul George also tweaked his ankle. George, who hit just 3-of-11 shots for nine points, says his ankle is sore and his status for Wednesday is a bit up in the air now. If he’s out, Terance Mann would see an even bigger role after leading the team with 17 points Monday.

DeMarcus Cousins was of just a few bright spots for the Clippers on Monday and had 16 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks off the bench. The team has signed Cousins for the rest of the season.

The Clippers lead the NBA in most games shooting at least 50% from beyond the arc (15) and are 21-3 when they make at least 16 three-pointers. The Clippers are 23-1 this season when scoring at least 120 points and 10-0 when holding their opponent to less than 100 points.

Why Bet on Phoenix? | NBA Betting Lines

The Suns ended the Knicks’ NBA-high nine-game winning streak Monday with a 118-110 win in New York despite trailing by as many as 15. Chris Paul scored the final seven Phoenix points as the Suns held on to finish 3-2 on their trip that included visits to the top four teams in the Eastern Conference.

Paul had 20 points, six assists, five rebounds and two blocks across 34 minutes. Paul has scored at least 20 points in four of his last five games, and he was extremely efficient Monday — he missed just four shots from the field and only committed two turnovers. Paul is averaging 16.0 points on 48.6 FG% and 8.7 assists at age 35 this season. Paul is just the third player to average 15+ points on at least 48% shooting plus 8+ assists at age 35 or older.

Devin Booker hit 14-of-26 shots and a 3-pointer for 33 points, four rebound and three assists. Booker has now scored at least 30 points in back-to-back games while shooting at least 50 percent in both contests.  Deandre Ayton added nine points, 13 boards and a block.

Mikal Bridges put up 21 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. The former Villanova standout has been thriving in the scoring column of late and has recorded at least 15 points in four of his last five appearances. The Suns played without two rotation guys in Dario Saric and Jae Crowder and both are questionable here.

This would be the 2nd straight season the Suns’ winning percentage improves by 200 points (+.234 last season). They could become just the 3rd team in NBA history to have 200-point improvements in winning percentage in consecutive seasons (Heat from 2002-03 to 2004-05, 76ers from 2015-16 to 2017-18).
