NBA Betting Rumors – Nov. 18th

Victor Oladipo

Orlando Magic shooting guard Victor Oladipo has been dealing with concussion symptoms since Wednesday, and the effects have been severe. He told the Orlando Sentinel, “It’s getting better, so I’m just glad to be back in the gym around the fellas again.” The Magic also saw Jason Smith come back to practice this Monday after hurting his left knee on November 7, and he should be back in games soon.

Andrew Bogut

Andrew Bogut should be returning to the starting lineup for the Golden State Warriors this week. In an interview with CSN Bay Area, he was asked if he wants to start, and he said, “Look, we’re winning. We’re 11-0. I’ve been a starter my whole career, but I understand I’ve missed…games and we won all of them.” Guys are in the flow and maybe the starters are used to having Festus there for the first six or seven minutes and get their rhythm that way. The Warriors will also get Klay Thompson back after he missed Saturday’s tilt against Brooklyn with a stiff back. Interim head coach Luke Walton told the San Francisco Chronicle, “We’re not really concerned bout Klay, at all. He’s too good of a shooter not to have another great year.”

Bradley Beal

Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal is still suffering from that left shoulder contusion, and he has not practiced yet. While Beal is on the shelf, the team will start Garrett Temple at the “2.”

Gerald Green

Gerald Green is cleared to play, but Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra does not know how he will incorporate Green yet. In an interview with the Miami Herald, Spoelstra said, “All we’ve told him right is just bring that same approach, work to get better, and get back into game shape and then we’ll go from there.” Before his recent time away, Green had been averaging 21.7 minutes and 10.3 points per game.

O.J. Mayo

Shooting guard O.J. Mayo could join the Milwaukee Bucks this week. He is expected to provide scoring from the bench with the team. The Bucks will be without forward Jabari Parker during their three-game road trip after spraining his right foot. In five games this season, Parker is averaging 3.6 boards and 7.2 points per game.

Iman Shumpert

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert is rehabbing his right wrist successfully and is actually ahead of schedule for his return, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. As a result, he could be back on the floor in the middle of December. At that point, the Cavs may slide him right back into the starting lineup.

Ricky Rubio

Ricky Rubio missed four games with a left hamstring strain but has returned to practice with the Minnesota Timberwolves this week. Coach Sam Mitchel told the Minneapolis Pioneer Press, “He looked good, but we’ll see how he feels after practice and we’ll see how he feels tomorrow.” Zach LaVine has been the starting point guard during Rubio’s absence.
