NBA Parlay Picks of the Week (Dec 19-25)

Written by on December 19, 2016

It’s the week leading up to Christmas, and I’m sure that means that many of you will be looking to take a break from the stress of shopping and taking care of all the other little details that come with the season. What better way to relax than watching some great NBA betting action, of which there is a lot to choose from this coming week. With it being Monday, it means that it’s time to once again pull out the crystal ball to see if it can deliver us some winning parlays. As always, I will be picking 3 teams on each ticket, which you can either play straight up or use as a round robin. I generally always hit at least 2 of the 3, so this is quite often the safest play. Without further ado, let’s get to this week’s parlay picks.

NBA Parlay Picks of the Week (Dec 19-25)

Monday December 19 – Thunder, Nuggets, Timberwolves

No team has gone into the tank harder this season than the Atlanta Hawks. They got off to a good start, but have since fallen apart, and are just 3-7 in their last 10. They should be in real trouble when visiting the Thunder, who are a solid 11-5 at home this season. The Denver Nuggets are sitting just outside the playoff picture right now, but they can get back on the right side of the line with a home win over the Dallas Mavericks. Shouldn’t be that tough to do given that Dallas only have 1 road win this season. Two very poor teams go head to head when the Phoenix Suns head into Minnesota to face the Timberwolves. Bit of a toss-up game here, but I like Minnesota to get the win on home court.

Tuesday December 20 – Raptors, Clippers Warriors

The Toronto Raptors look as though they are going to be on the heels of the Cavaliers all season long, and they are staring this week having gone 8-2 in their last 10. Toronto should be able to get past the Nets without too much effort on Tuesday night. I know that I am going with lower odds picks today, but these match-ups are just too difficult to pass up. The Clippers should be able to use home court advantage to beat a Nuggets team that is 3-games below .500 on the road. This one is perhaps not quite as straightforward, as the Utah Jazz are going well right now, and come into this week on a 4-game win streak. The Warriors just don’t lose at home very often, and should get the win in a tight one.

Wednesday December 21 – Cavaliers, Rockets, Jazz

The Wednesday night match-up between the Cavaliers and the Bucks has the potential to be one of the most entertaining games of the week. It’s also a game where I think we might get decent odds on the Cavs, so add them to the ticket. The Rockets are coming into this week on a stellar 10-game winning streak, and while there is a chance it may come to an end on Tuesday versus the Spurs, I don’t see them losing back to back, especially with the Phoenix Suns being the next game up. While I think that the Jazz will lose to the Warriors on Tuesday night, I think they will be able to bounce back nicely on Wednesday with a win over the Sacramento Kings.
