Betting Projections for AFC Conference Winners

Kansas City Chiefs +325

A few weeks ago, many had written the Kansas City Chiefs off. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense was turning the ball over at an alarming rate, and the defense couldn’t stop anyone. A few weeks later, the Chiefs’ defense now looks like one of the league’s best, and the offense has gotten better. Turnovers are still an issue, but if the defense continues to play well, look out for the Chiefs!

Buffalo Bills +350

At times the Bills have looked like the best team in football, while at others, they’ve looked like a team that’s not worthy of a spot in the AFC Playoffs. Josh Allen is one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the league, and he and the Bills offense are capable of putting up huge numbers. The Bills’ defense started the year well, but they have fallen off in recent games.

New England Patriots +450

Don’t look now, but the Patriots are rising the ranks of the AFC. With a rookie quarterback and a team lacking superstar offensive players, the Patriots are one of the top-scoring teams in the league. Combine that with a stellar defense led by Matthew Judon, a player who could be the most valuable player in the league right now, and the Patriots are poised to make a long playoff run.

Baltimore Ravens +500

While he can make some head-scratching mistakes at times, teams still haven’t figured out how to stop Jackson and the Ravens‘ offense. It may not be pretty at times, but it gets the job done. When teams think they have Jackson figured out, he goes and makes a game-changing play. If you load up the box to stop the run, he’ll make a great pass. If you give him room to run, he’ll beat you with his legs. Even though the defense has taken some hits due to injury, the Ravens can still make some postseason noise.

Tennessee Titans +900

Many felt that the Titans would also go down when Derrick Henry went down. That hasn’t been the case, as the Titans have carried on. Tennessee’s defense has gotten better, and Ryan Tannehill has found other avenues to score. With Henry possibly coming back for the playoffs, Tennessee is confident that they can get things done in the postseason.
