NFL MVP – QB Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After 22 incredible seasons, Tom Brady has called it quits. Terrific Tom should sail into the sunset grasping an NFL MVP trophy. 

Giselle’s husband ended his career on a high note, leading the league in passing yards with 5,316, and throwing for 43 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions.

NFL Offensive Player of the Year – WR Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams

If the Colts had made the playoffs, running back Jonathan Taylor might be the pick. But Indianapolis bombed towards the end of the regular season, which is why the award goes to Matthew Stafford’s favorite target. 

Cooper Kupp had one of the greatest seasons for a wide receiver in NFL history. Kupp caught 145 passes for 1,947 yards and 16 TDs.

NFL Defensive Player of the Year – DE T.J. Watt, Pittsburgh Steelers

The main reason the Pittsburgh Steelers made the playoffs is because Mike Tomlin is the best coach in the NFL. The player Tomlin leaned on more than any other is defensive-end T.J. Watt.

J.J.’s little bro recorded 48 solo tackles, 22.5 sacks, and forced 5 fumbles. He did all of it while missing 2 games and playing hurt in at least 3 other contests.  

NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year – WR Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase lit it up in Cincinnati like it was 2019 and they were playing in Baton Rouge. Chase caught 81 Joe Cool passes for 1,455 yards and 13 TDs. 

NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year – LB Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys

The preseason chalk should win the award. Parsons had 64 solo tackles, forced 3 fumbles, and sacked the quarterback 13 times. 

NFL Comeback Player of the Year – QB Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow missed 6 games his rookie season. If he hadn’t missed those games, who knows what sort of stats the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft might have accomplished?

This season, coming off an injury, Burrow threw for 4,611 yards and 34 TDs. In a 2-game stretch versus the Ravens and Chiefs, Joe threw for a combined 971 yards and threw 8 TD passes. 

Oh, yeah, he also led the underdog Bengals to an AFC North Division win and then in the playoffs, he orchestrated a comeback victory over the Chiefs in the AFC Championship. 

NFL Coach Of the Year – Zac Taylor, Cincinnati Bengals

Although many will want to give the award to Tennessee’s Mike Vrabel, the Bengals were supposed to finish dead last in their division. So Taylor gets the nod.
