Cincinnati Bengals Betting Preview: Bengals Look to Push Winnings Streak to Six

The Cincinnati Bengals enter this matchup red hot as they have rattled off five straight wins after taking down the Cleveland Browns at home 23-10. In the NFL standings the Bengals sit at 9-4 and are tied for first in the AFC North.

The Bengal offense has gotten a huge boost from the return of Ja’Marr Chase. In two games returning from injury, the second year wideout collected 216 yards and a touchdown. Over the win streak Burrow has been fantastic with nine touchdowns and three interceptions over his last four games. Overall, the offense is averaging a seventh best 25.8 points per game.

The rushing defense stifled Nick Chubb and the running game, holding them to only 71 yards on the day. Overall, this unit has been special over their last three games holding opponents to 16.7 points.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Preview: Bucs Hold One-Game Lead in NFC South

The San Francisco 49ers humiliated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35-7 in Week 15. It was another poor showing for both the offense and the defense and now the Buccaneers are under .500 once again and lead the NFC South by just one game.

Despite surrendering over 200 yards rushing, the Tampa Bay defense has been their biggest strength up to this point. The defensive unit ranks in the top-10 in yards allowed (320.7) and scoring defense (19.5).

Tampa Bay amassed 322 overall yards and forced Tom Brady to throw the football 55 times. Brady was picked off twice , while the rushing game was non-existent once again. The offense has been dismal averaging 17.2 points per game, including a league low 72.9 rushing yards per game.

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers need a win in this matchup to stay one game ahead of the Panthers and Falcons who are nipping at their heels in the NFC South. Unfortunately, the Bucs have had several chances to win games but their offense has been brutal.

The Bengals on the other hand have played strong football and they are fighting for the top spot in the AFC North. Not only have they won five straight contests but they are 5-0 ATS in their last five games and 9-1 ATS over their last ten. Tampa is 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11, this spread should be a lot bigger. Back the Bengals to win this one and cover the spread.
