NFL Betting Predictions That Could Reshape Odds to Win Super Bowl LIV

Super Bowl LIV is almost upon us, and while we have seen the odds shift a little bit over the past couple of weeks, it is the Kansas City Chiefs who are still in as a 1 ½ point favorite as of Friday afternoon. It is unlikely that we will see any more movement from now through to kick-off, which means that you should really start thinking about where your money is going to go when you wager.

Before you jump in and start getting your bets lined up, we thought it might be a good idea to once again take a look at the current NFL odds and some factors that may come into play when deciding which way to go.

NFL Betting Predictions That Could Reshape Odds to Win Super Bowl LIV

The SU Odds for Super Bowl LIV

No matter who you pick here, you are getting some pretty decent odds, which is usually what happens when you have a pair of teams that look to be evenly matched. The Chiefs are the favorites and are currently listed at -125, while the San Francisco 49ers are in at +100.

Over the years, we have seen teams come into the postseason on a hot streak, with that momentum carrying over into the postseason. That is where the Chiefs are at right now, as they are on a run that has seen them win 8 in a row. The 49ers have won 4 straight games, so they also need to be considered a decent bet to keep that run going.

The ATS Odds

This is about as close to a pick play as you can get, with the Chiefs currently favored by just 1 ½ points. There is very little margin for error here, which means that if you are thinking of playing the 49ers to cover the spread, you should potentially be taking them SU, too.

The biggest concern when wagering on the Chiefs against the spread is the manner in which they have started both of their playoff games this season. They have had to come from behind in both games, which is something they may not be able to do 3 times in a row, especially when up against a team as good as the San Francisco 49ers.

The O/U Odds for Super Bowl LIV

This might be the toughest of the three main bets to predict, simply because it is going to depend on how things play out at the start of the game. If the 49ers jump out to the lead, they have a style of play that will allow them to eat up the clock and keep the Chiefs offense off the board.

On the flipside, the Kansas City Chiefs are going to come out and start throwing the ball all over the field. If they see success there, it’s going to force the 49ers to open up their offense a little more. If that happens, then we are stepping into potential shootout territory.
