NFL 2021 Lock Betting Picks for Week 18

NFL 2021 Lock Betting Picks for Week 18

One of the biggest weekends in the NFL is almost upon us, with Week 18 of the season set to begin. We are in new territory here, as this will be the first time that teams will have played 17 games in a season. There are a handful of teams thankful for that extra week, as it means they have a shot at slipping into the playoffs at the last second. There is just one open spot remaining in both conferences, but there are still a few teams in with a shot at taking up those positions. Throughout the course of the weekend, we are likely to see the seeds flip flop and change a little, which will just add to the fun and excitement of the day. I’m always a little nervous about making picks that are “LOCKS,” but especially in a week where you never really know what teams are going to do in personnel. That said, I am still going to try and deliver my best SU, ATS, and O/U pick for Week 18. Let’s get to it so you can continue betting against the NFL odds.

2021 NFL Season Week 18 Parlay Picks to Bet On

SU Lock Play – Cincinnati Bengals

Last season, it became somewhat obvious that the Cincinnati Bengals had found their franchise QB in Joe Burrow. There were some concerns that an injury that ended his season might have an impact this year, but that has not been the case. The Bengals have locked up the AFC North and will be a surprise entry into the playoffs, but they are not about to be content with that. They will close out the season on the road to the Browns and you know that they will want to keep their momentum running heading into the postseason. With that in mind, I do expect Joe Burrow to start, which bodes well for the Bengals. Cleveland have been poor this season and Baker Mayfield looks lost right now at QB. If the Bengals play their full squad, this should be a win.

ATS Lock Play – Kansas City Chiefs (-10)

The Chiefs saw their hopes of landing the #1 seed in the AFC take a hit this past weekend with a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. They can still nab that spot, but they need to beat the Broncos this week and hopes that the Tennessee Titans stumble at the final hurdle. With so much still to play for, you can bet that the Chiefs are going to have all their top players starting, which could well prove to be bad news for the Denver Broncos. This is a team that the Chiefs have dominated, covering the spread in 10 of their last 12 meetings with Denver. I like them to do it again on Saturday,

O/U Lock Play – Chargers/Raiders (OVER 49)

As mentioned at the top of this piece, there is just 1 playoff spot remaining in the AFC, but we have 4 teams still in with a shot at taking it. Since both of these teams are in that group, this game will serve as an elimination of sorts. No matter who wins this one, both teams are going to need some help, which includes the Colts and Steelers losing their games. Both the Raiders and Chargers can put up some offense, so don’t be surprised to see this one turn into a shootout. The Chargers have seen the OVER hit in each of their last 5, and while the Raiders have been trending under, I see this one going OVER.
