Written by on July 18, 2018

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints got back to being a double-digit winner    a year ago by recording 11 victories to reach the postseason for the first time since 2013.Now, after making some more improvements to their roster in free agency and the NFL Draft, the longtime NFC South residents are looking to challenge for a berth in Super Bowl and nothing less.If you’re thinking about betting on the Saints’ 2018 win total odds and you’re looking for some assistance in determining just how many games they are going to win this coming season, then consider your ticket punched.Let’s get to my expert win total odds analysis and predictions

New Orleans Saints 2018 NFL Win/Loss Odds Prediction

  • New Orleans Saints Win Total Odds – 9.5

Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 9, vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m. ET

The Saints spanked the Buccaneers 30-10 in Week 9 at home last season. Simply put, I’m predicting another similar win in this one with the Bucs playing without Jameis Winston. Win.

Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 16, vs. Cleveland Browns, 1 p.m. ET

The Browns will be a lot better than they were a year ago, but they’re going to have some Hills and Valleys in 2018. Consider this Week 2 road date in the Big Easy a valley! Win. 2-0.

Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 23, at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m. ET

These divison rivals split a year ago with each team winning at home and you had best believe another regular season split is coming in 2018 between these  eerily identical legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Loss. 2-1.

Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 30, at New York Giants, 4:25 p.m. ET

Two future Hall of Famers will be going at it when Drew and Eli take to the gridiron. Unfortunately for manning and the G-Men, the Saints are the far better team in all three phases. Win. 3-1.

Week 5: Monday, Oct. 8, vs. Washington Redskins, 8:15 p.m. ET

Washington’s Jay Gruden is getting out-coached by Sean Payton and Alex Smith is getting outplayed by Drew Brees. Plus, the Skins won’t have an answer for Alvin ‘Special K’ Kamara! Win. 4-1.

Week 6: Bye

Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 21, at Baltimore Ravens, 4:05 p.m. ET

Joe Flacco is awful and he wouldn’t have a Super Bowl ring without Ray Lewis. He’s also not getting a win at home in this Week 7 matchup against a Saints team with a far superior and more explosive offense. Win. 5-1.

Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 28, at Minnesota Vikings, 8:20 p.m. ET

The Vikings have a powerful defense and they won’t be easy to beat, but I think the football Gods are going to give the Saints the payback they deserve for their stunning playoff loss that ended their season a year ago. Win. 6-1.

Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 4, vs. Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 p.m. ET

I’m expecting a Game of the Year kind of performance in this contest. I’m going with New Orleans for the narrow win in a fantastic shootout. Win. 7-1.Are the Saints a safe betting pick for the 2018 NFL season?

Week 10: Sunday, Nov. 11, at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m. ET

After two spectacular wins over the Vikings and Rams, I feel like a letdown is more than possible in this Week 10 Inter-Conference clash! Loss. 7-2.

Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 18, vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 1 p.m. ET

The Saints won’t bow down to the Birds like trump did with Putin this week, but I’m feeling like Philly is going to get a huge road win in this Week 11 showdown while delivering a statement-making message that all roads to the Super Bowl will go through the City of Brotherly Love. Loss. 7-3.

Week 12: Thursday, Nov. 22, vs. Atlanta Falcons, 8:20 p.m. ET

The Saints get their split against the Falcons in Week 12. Win. 8-3.

Week 13: Thursday, Nov. 29, at Dallas Cowboys, 8:20 p.m. ET

The Cowboys are going down at home simply because New Orleans is the better team when it comes to all three phases of the game. Win. 9-3.

Week 14: Sunday, Dec. 9, at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m. ET

I don’t trust Dirk Koetter or Jameis Winston and you shouldn’t either. The Saints get the regular season sweep! Win. 10-3.

Week 15: Monday, Dec. 17, at Carolina Panthers, 8:15 p.m. ET

The Saints gave the Panthers a three-piece and a biscuit last season, but there will be no sweep against the Panthers in 2018. Loss. 10-4.

Week 16: Sunday, Dec. 23, vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, 4:25 p.m. ET

New Orleans gets the hard-fought home win in this Week 16 showdown as Drew Brees outguns Ben Roethlisberger. Win. 11-4.

Week 17: Sunday, Dec. 30, vs. Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m. ET

Think regular season split in this NFC South divisional showdown. Win. 12-4.Mark it down right now MYBookie NFL betting enthusiasts, New Orleans is an absolute lock to reach the 10-win plateau and top their 9.5-win total odds figure.
