Tennessee Titans Postseason Betting Analysis

Tennessee Titans Regular Season

The Titans saw their season begin with a blowout loss to the Arizona Cardinals, leading some to believe that this team might be taking a backward step in 2021. They soon put that idea to rest, though, winning 8 of their next 9 games. On the downside, they lost RB Derrick Henry in Week 8, which seemed to have a bit of an impact on them, as they went on a run where they lost 3 of 4 and saw their lead in the AFC South begin to shrink.

That run proved to be a minor blip, though, as the Titans went on to win their final 3 games while the Colts floundered coming down the stretch. Tennessee ended the season at 12-5, which was good enough to get them the #1 seed in the conference and a well earned off week to start the playoffs. Better yet, it looks as though Henry might be ready to make a return in the postseason, which makes this team a legitimate threat.

The Titans Road to the Super Bowl

As previously mentioned, the Titans landed the #1 seed and earned the right to sit back and watch the opening round of the postseason. That will give them an opportunity to rest and really scout the teams that they might potentially need to face on the road to the Super Bowl.

With that #1 seed, the Titans are guaranteed home field advantage throughout the playoffs, which is not good news for the teams they will face. In the regular season, the Titans went an impressive 7-2 in their own building, so knocking them off is going to be no easy task for whoever does end up facing them.

The Titans Postseason Odds

Heading into the postseason, it is the Kansas City Chiefs who are the favorite to represent the AFC. The Titans are next on the board, though, sitting at odds of +275 to win the AFC. That is a pretty good price for a team that looked to be getting in their stride coming down the stretch.

There are a few teams more favored than the Titans to win the Super Bowl, but that’s good news if you think this team can go on and win it all. Right now, they are sitting at +730 to win the Super Bowl, which is great odds. I think the Titans are certainly worth taking a chance on.
