Chiefs and Packers become favorites after Bucs fall to Saints and Colts beat the Patriots

Heading into Week 15, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were a solid +410 chalk to repeat as Super Bowl Champions. After Week 15, odds among the top three choices have dramatically changed.

Because the rival New Orleans Saints beat Tampa Bay, Tom Brady and his mates have fallen to third choice. The Buccaneers now offer +510.

The outright favorite are the Kansas City Chiefs who rallied last Thursday to a 34-28 overtime victory against the AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers. Kansas City not only gained control of their division, but they also leaped over the New England Patriots for the top seed in the conference.

The previous number one in the AFC, the Patriots, fell to the Indianapolis Colts. New England is now the fourth choice.

Green Bay became the second choice after beating the Baltimore Ravens 31-30. The Packers should win out. Green Bay hosts the Browns and Vikings before traveling to Detroit on Jan. 9.

Cardinals’ Super Bowl odds in freefall after loss to the Lions

Arizona’s Super Bowl odds took a hit after losing to the Rams. The Cards’ odds are in a virtual freefall after dropping their NFL Week 15 contest against the Detroit Lions.

Zona didn’t come close to looking like the team that just two weeks ago had the best record in the NFL. Kyler Murray has turned into an interception throwing machine, Kliff Kingsbury is making bad decisions as a head coach, and the defense has allowed 30 points in the last couple of games.

Arizona faces real danger. The Cardinals host the on fire Colts on Christmas Day before traveling to Dallas to take on the Cowboys, and then hosting the Seahawks in Week 18. Zona could lose all three, sending their record to 10-7.

Indianapolis is now a top ten choice based on odds to win the Lombardi Trophy

Although the Colts remain a game behind the Tennessee Titans in the AFC South, Indianapolis offers lower odds to win Super Bowl 56 than the Titans.

Indianapolis ended the Patriots’ 7-game winning streak last Saturday. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 170 yards and the top takeaway defense in the league picked off Pats quarterback Mac Jones twice.

The Colts must continue to win. Based on recent weeks, though, Indianapolis should have no trouble dispatching of the Cardinals, Raiders, and Jaguars in their final 3 games. So if you believe, grab the still decent SB odds.

Bengals top team in the AFC North, offer legit odds to win the Bowl

Cleveland fell to the Raiders this past Monday night, which is the reason the Bengals have become a +3100 team to win the Super Bowl. Heading into the final three weeks of the regular season, Cincy is in the lead in the AFC North.

The Bengals aren’t a lock to win the division crown. But Cincinnati’s two toughest remaining games are at home versus the Ravens and Chiefs. So if they split those two and then beat the Browns in NFL Week 18, they should win the North.

Saints must make playoffs, if they do, they’ll have a shot

Don’t look now, but the Saints are on the rise. New Orleans has work to do to make the playoffs. But if the Saints can win out, their final three games are versus the Dolphins, Panthers, and Falcons, New Orleans will finish at 10-7.

A 10-7 record might be good enough for the Saints, who are currently on the bubble, to secure the NFC’s seventh and final playoff spot. At +9000, New Orleans is this week’s top Super Bowl overlay.

Yes, the Saints have a tough road to climb to win the Super Bowl even if they make the playoffs. But at the odds, they might be worth a shot.

New Orleans’ defense was ridiculous versus the Bucs and with every passing week, Taysom Hill should get more comfortable under center. So if you want to take a home run swing, the Saints are your team.
