After loss to Miami, Bills become an underlay
Buffalo had every chance to beat the Dolphins but failed to do so. Because the Bills couldn’t win a close game versus a division rival, we must reevaluate Buffalo’s Lombardi Trophy odds.
At +440, the Bills are a massive underlay. Buffalo beat up a Rams team that isn’t nearly as formidable in 2022 as it was in 2021 in their first game. Then in their second, the Bills beat up a bad Titans team.
This Sunday, Buffalo takes on Baltimore. The Ravens can score and the Bills have injuries on their defense. If you believe in Buffalo, wait until that game finishes. The Ravens have a real chance of winning. A Baltimore win should catapult the Bills’ odds to +600 or higher.
The Eagles are an underlay and the Jags are a massive overlay
Sure, Philadelphia has looked great in their first three games of the season. But we shouldn’t read too much into beating the Lions, Vikings, and Commanders.
Also, versus Detroit, Philadelphia had to rally to force overtime. So it’s not like the Eagles have dusted the best of the best. In NFL Week 4, Philly takes on a good Jacksonville Jaguars team.
The Jags have a ton of momentum after yielding a combined total of 17 points in back-to-back blowout wins versus the Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers.
Jacksonville is a huge overlay at +6200 odds. The Jags field a top 3 defense and the offense has started to play great football. If Jacksonville upsets the Eagles, it will be 3 straight versus teams that should have wiped them off the field.

Miami has a tough Thursday night game versus the defending AFC Champion Cincinnati Bengals. If Tua Tagovailoa isn’t hurt, the Dolphins could win that game.
The Cowboys should roll past the Washington Commanders. Soon, Dak Prescott will return for the Cowboys while Tagovailoa is playing like a potential NFL MVP.
Both offer higher odds than they should to win Super Bowl 57. So if you’re looking to back an overlay this week, consider the Boys or the Fins.
