But in the AFC Championship, Joe Burrow lead the Cincinnati Bengals down from 18 points to shock the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 in overtime. As we head into the two weeks before Super Bowl LVI, it’s important for us to assess each team from every angle. Significant Los Angeles Rams Injuries

After Sunday’s victory over the rival 49ers, the Rams listed seven injuries. All seven players are listed as questionable.

Robert Rochell – DB
Darrell Henderson Jr. – RB
Taylor Rapp – S
Joe Noteboom – OL
Tyler Higbee – TE
Cam Akers – RB
Sebastian Joseph-Day – DL

Of the seven players, Rapp’s and Higbee’s absences would be the most detrimental to the Rams’ chances of winning the Super Bowl. Rapp is Los Angeles’ starting safety.

Without Rapp, the Rams could find it difficult to stop Joe Burrow and his bevy of wide receivers. Also without Rapp, the Rams will have to rely more on getting pressure on Burrow with their front four.

Higbee is Los Angeles’ starting tight-end. If Higbee and Akers both can’t play, Matthew Stafford will be missing two of his outlet receivers. Higbee is more important than Akers because LAR is used to playing Sony Michel at running back.

Both on the field at the same time could deter the Bengals from blitzing, though. So the Rams hope both will be ready by February 13.

Significant Cincinnati Bengals Injuries

Like the Rams, on Monday the Bengals listed players questionable to step onto the SoFi Stadium field for Super Bowl 56.

C.J. Uzomah – TE
Stanley Morgan Jr. – WR
Cameron Sample – DE
Josh Tupou – DL

On Jan. 18, the Bengals put starting defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi on IR, which means not having Josh Tupou available to play could be a big deal. Tupou started 9 games this season.

Cameron Sample doesn’t start, but he will be required to spell Trey Hendrickson and Sam Hubbard. The Bengals’ want to keep Hendrickson and Hubbard fresh for the fourth quarter. Without Sample, doing so will be more difficult.

Stanley Morgan Jr. didn’t play a lot during the regular season. Even if he were one-hundred percent, he wouldn’t see much playing time on Super Bowl Sunday.

If C.J. Uzomah can’t play, though, it’s a huge loss. Burrow is more effective when he can throw to his starting tight-end. Uzomah’s back-up, Drew Sample is a good player. But Uzomah can’t play, Sample may be on the field for more snaps than ideal.

This should be a close Super Bowl. The Rams have the edge because it happens on their field. So the Bengals must enter the game at close to full strength to have any shot of outlasting the Rams in the fourth-quarter.
