Fuller was able to practice on a limited basis last week and was a game-time decision, suggesting he was close to being ready. The bad news: right tackle Seantrel Henderson is out for the season with a broken ankle. Henderson will undergo surgery on Tuesday and should be placed on injured reserve this week. His loss is a blow to an offensive line which was already among the worst in the league. Julien Davenport switched to right tackle with third-round rookie Martinas Rankin taking over at left tackle after Henderson exited on Sunday. O’Brien also expects CB Kevin Johnson (concussion) to miss significant time. “It’s concerning,” O’Brien said of the injury. “He will be out for a while.” Johnson was just cleared of a preseason concussion last Friday. Delanie Walker, one of the NFL’s top tight ends, suffered ligament damage in addition to a dislocated ankle and will miss the remainder of the season. It’s a brutal blow for the Titans, who must adapt to the loss of their No. 1 passing game weapon as they try to sort out the depth chart in their receiver corps. Second-year pro Jonnu Smith will step into Walker’s void at tight end.
LT Taylor Lewan exited Week 1 against the Dolphins with a concussion. The newly-minted highest-paid tackle in the game was injured on a questionable blindside hit from overpaid Dolphins DE Andre Branch. Lewan appeared to be knocked unconscious after not seeing Branch coming on the crack-back. Lewan is week-to-week.
