2022 Tennessee Titans Win/Loss Betting Prediction for the Upcoming NFL Season

2022 Tennessee Titans Win/Loss Betting Prediction for the Upcoming NFL Season

The goal of every team heading into the new NFL season is to win the Super Bowl, but everyone is aware that there are usually only a handful of teams that have a legitimate shot. A more realistic goal is to simply improve upon what went down the season before, and if that is indeed the case, then the Tennessee Titans have their work cut out for them this coming season. They closed out the regular season with a 12-5 record, a division title, and a visit to the playoffs, which ended in the Divisional Round with a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, who we all know went to the Super Bowl. The Titans come into this season as the favorites to win the division again, which would mean a 3rd straight trip to the postseason. The bookies have the 2022 win total for the Tennessee Titans set at 9 ½, so they also expect this team to be good. Let’s now take a moment to break down their 2022 schedule to see if they can cross that mark and you can bet against their NFL Win Loss Total Odds.

Titans 2022 NFL Season Betting Prediction: Win/Loss Record

Titans Regular Season

The knock on the Titans is that they have leaned too heavily on Derrick Henry over the past few seasons, and while Ryan Tannehill has his detractors, the fact is that the QB led this team to 12 wins while Henry was out injured for half of last season. I think both men play in a role in getting a Week 1 win at home to the Giants/ Things get tougher in Week 2, as the Titans will be on the road to face the Bills. They close out September at home to the Raiders, which should see them close out the month at 2-1.

A division is never decided in October, but the Titans have a chance to make a real marl. They open the month on the road to the Colts, before travelling to Washington to face the Commanders. They then have the Colts again, this time at home, before travelling to face the Texans. This is a chance for a 3-1 month, but if they go perfect, they will have a stranglehold on the South.

November opens with a trip to KC, after which Tennessee will be at home to the Broncos. They will follow that up with a trip to Green Bay and a revenge game at home to the Cincinnati Bengals. 2-2 looks to be what we can expect in November before heading into the home stretch of the season.

December begins with a road trip to Philadelphia, after which the Titans will be at home to the Jaguars. They then go on the road to face the Chargers before taking on the Cowboys and Texans at home. The final game on the season is on the road to the Jaguars, so a real opportunity to finish the season strong for Tennessee.

Regular Season and Beyond

The AFC South once again looks like a 2-horse race between the Titans and the Colts, and I believe it will be Tennessee that prevails. They certainly have some tough stretches in their schedule, but they should be able to hit double-digit wins again this season. Whether they can get beyond the opening round of the playoffs remains to be seen, as they have fallen at the first hurdle in each of the last 2 seasons.
