The regular season of the NFL continues, and week four brings an exciting AFC South matchup between the Tennessee Titans (1-2) and the Indianapolis Colts (1-1-1).

Both squads picked up their first wins of the season, with the Titans taking down the Raiders at home 24-22, while the Colts came off an impressive victory over the Chiefs 20-17. Kickoff at Lucas Oil Stadium begins at 1 PM ET, and this division matchup should be a good one. It’s time to see how both teams stack up against each other so you can place your bets against their NFL Betting Lines.

NFL Week 4 Betting Preview for Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Matchup

Titans Look For First Division Win on the Road

On Sunday, the Titans defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 24-22 to earn their first victory of the year. They managed to hang on to the end, scoring all 24 points in the first half. The Raiders were limited to 1-for-12 on third down by them.

Derrick Henry was the x-factor on offense for the Titans last week as he finally returned to his former glory and offered a fresh element in the air by catching five receptions for 58 yards. The running back has scored a TD in back-to-back games, while Ryan Tannehill was picked off for the second straight contest.

The Titans’ troubles in the second half have been one of this young season’s more troubling aspects. In two consecutive games, Tennessee has failed to score a single point in the second half and, overall, this season has been outscored 57-7 in the final two quarters. They will look to rebound against a depleted Colt defensive lineup.

Indy Hopes to Win Second Straight and Defend Home Turf

On Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts finally recorded their first victory of the year, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17 in the final seconds to avenge a 24-0 rout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. With only 24 seconds left, Colts quarterback Matt Ryan connected with Jelani Woods for the go-ahead score from 12 yards out.

Offensively, Matt Ryan was brought in to be a veteran presence and lead this team to an AFC South title. Be that as it may, Ryan has been a disappointment this year with just three touchdowns and four interceptions. Jonathan Taylor has been a colossal letdown this season as well; after totaling almost 1,800 yards of rushing in a season, the previous two weeks, he has only gained 125 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Colts played excellent defense and prevailed against one of the NFL’s top offensive units. The Colts’ defensive strength this season has been stopping the run, with only 77 rushing yards per game allowed ranking third in the NFL. They’ll have a tough task against Derek Henry; however, if they can lock him up, they could grab a victory in this one.

Titans vs Colts Odds

The Tennessee Titans enter this matchup as the +3 (-110) point spread underdogs and are +145 moneyline dogs despite winning the last four out of five matchups between these two. The Indianapolis Colts, on the other hand, are favored by -3 (-110) points and are -1170 on the moneyline thanks to home-field advantage and a win over the Chiefs last week. The total is sitting at 49.5 points.

What’s the Pick?

The Titans have won the AFC South division title each of the last two seasons and swept the series against the Colts last year. It’s usually a tough and hard-fought battle when these two squads are on the field together, so it should be a fun matchup.

The Indianapolis Colts will have the home-field advantage, but they have not played up to their potential. Matt Ryan has more picks than interceptions, while Jonathan Taylor looks like he has regressed since last year’s breakout. The Titans, on the other hand, have a strong rushing defense paired with a solid offensive attack.

Frank Reich always seems to find a way to mess it up for the home fans in Indianapolis, and for that reason, I can’t trust this squad to come close in this one. The Titans’ offense will break out against a depleted Indianapolis defense.

Take the Tennessee titans at +3 (-110).
