Top NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers Games to Bet On the Upcoming 2022-23 Season

For a few weeks, it seemed as if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were heading into the fall without Tom Brady under center. Luckily, Brady ended his short-lived retirement and hopes to lead the Bucs to a second Super Bowl title in three seasons.

Of course, Tampa Bay is a lot more than its future Hall of Fame quarterback. The Buccaneers have a new head coach in Todd Bowles, a veteran-laden roster with multiple All-Pro talents, and several upcoming games that every football fan needs to bet on this fall. With that in mind, let’s jump right into action so you can plan your bets against their NFL Lines.

Week 4: Buccaneers vs Chiefs (SNF)

In February 2021, the Buccaneers won their second Super Bowl in franchise history with a dominant 31-9 victory over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. On October 2, the Chiefs will return to the crime scene in hopes of getting revenge.

There’s not much that needs to be said in order to excite fans about this matchup. Not only will Brady and Mahomes go head-to-head, but all of it will be under the lights of Raymond James Stadium in a primetime matchup.

Kansas City hasn’t faced Tampa since the Super Bowl, which adds even more intrigue. The Bucs will more than likely be favored by a slim margin, setting us up for one of the best regular-season games of the entire season.

Week 9: Buccaneers vs Rams

For a while, it looked as if Brady’s last NFL game was going to be a Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Instead, Tom Terrific will get a shot at upending the defending champs at the halfway point of the season.

The odds for this game will depend on the state of both teams. But it should be noted that LA has owned Tampa for the last decade, going 8-1 against the Bucs since 2012. Three of those wins have come against Brady, with two of them at Raymond James to boot.

In other words, the Bucs will have their work cut out for them in the second of three straight home games. Luckily, the extra rest from their Thursday night game in Week 8 could be the decisive edge in the Buccaneers finally beating the Rams.

Week 12: Buccaneers at Browns

Following their bye week, the Bucs head to Ohio to face the Cleveland Browns. As of now, this inter-conference matchup will be much tougher for Tampa than previously believed just a few short days ago.

The Browns’ offseason has been plagued by questions surrounding new quarterback Deshaun Watson’s suspension for sexual misconduct. But on August 1, a neutral judge gave Watson a six-game suspension, which would mean the QB has four games and a bye week to get acclimated before facing the Bucs in Week 12.

With Jacoby Brissett behind center, the Browns don’t pose much of a threat to the Bucs. But if Watson is there, this road suddenly becomes one of Tampa’s most intriguing games and a must-bet matchup.

Week 13: Buccaneers vs Saints (MNF)

Immediately after facing the Browns, the Buccaneers have their biggest divisional showdown of the year. On December 5, Tampa Bay will host the New Orleans Saints and former quarterback Jameis Winston.

Although the Winston era is a stark contrast from the Drew Brees era of yesteryear, the Saints still have a very promising roster. Not just that, but they’ve beaten Brady’s Bucs in all four of their regular-season matchups, with Tampa beating New Orleans in the playoffs for Brees’ final game.

Given this point in the schedule, there’s a chance this primetime showdown will determine who wins the NFC South. While the Bucs will likely be favored, New Orleans’ history against them will make this game a fascinating gamble.
