Top NFL New York Giants Games to Bet On the Upcoming 2022-23 Season

After yet another tumultuous season, the New York Giants have reasons for optimism in 2022. Led by a new general manager (Joe Schoen) and head coach (Brian Daboll), the Giants have several big-name veterans along with a few new youngsters ready to take the league by storm.

Barring a massive turnaround, the G-Men won’t be a playoff team just yet. But they should be far more exciting to watch than in recent years, with several must-bet games looming on their upcoming schedule. Let’s take a look at those top games so you can get all set to bet against their NFL Lines.

New York Giants Must Bet Games During the Regular Season | NFL Betting Picks

Week 3: Giants vs Cowboys (MNF)

For all of the criticism the NFC East gets for being overrated, there’s still a certain charm when two of its members meet for a primetime showdown. On September 26, the Giants will host the Dallas Cowboys in what could be a very fun game.

This rivalry has, admittedly, been all Dallas. The Cowboys are a whopping 9-1 against the Giants since the start of the 2017 season. However, New York’s offense should be a much better product than the one it’s put out in the previous two years under former head coach Joe Judge and offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.

The Cowboys will almost certainly be favored in this game, perhaps by as many as seven points. But it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see the Giants make it closer than many people think, especially if their improved pass rush lives up to the hype.

Week 5: Giants vs Packers (London)

After three straight home games, the Giants will fly across the pond to face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Based on 2021 performance, this is New York’s toughest opponent in 2022.

Sure, Big Blue hasn’t taken down the Packers since Eli Manning was behind center. But the Giants will have a shorter trip to London than Green Bay, the only NFL team that’s yet to play an international contest. It’s not a huge advantage, but it’s an advantage nevertheless.

There is some unpredictability about playing a game on a neutral field across the Atlantic. Will it be enough for the Giants to win? That remains to be seen, but the betting intrigue is certainly there.

Week 12: Giants at Cowboys (Thanksgiving)

The league really wanted as many people to watch the New York Giants and Cowboys as it could. Nine weeks after a Monday night showdown at the Meadowlands, the division foes will play in the second of three Thanksgiving Day games.

Playing on Turkey Day is an annual tradition for Dallas, but it’s a rare opportunity for New York. Although they played their first Thanksgiving game 40 years before the Cowboys, the Giants have just 15 in nearly 100 years. Their last one came back in 2017 when Ben McAdoo was still the head coach.

Every Thanksgiving game is worth betting on, but this game is far more interesting than BillsLions or Patriots-Vikings, the two matchups sandwiching this tasty NFC East showdown.

Week 16: Giants at Vikings (Christmas Eve)

On the night before Christmas, Big Blue will attempt to take down the Purple People Eaters, aka the Minnesota Vikings. While it’s very far in advance, this contest could have serious playoff implications.

The Vikings are in a similar position as the Giants, entering the season with a new GM and head coach. However, they have realistic playoff goals despite back-to-back losing seasons.

There’s a good chance their playoff hopes come down to a single game. So beating the Giants in their final home game of the season is of vital importance.

Meanwhile, New York could be fighting for a playoff spot of its own, depending on the state of the NFC East. But in all likelihood, the G-Men could play spoiler and deliver a lump of coal to the Vikings during a must-watch holiday weekend.
