NFL Week 12 Against the Spread Lines and Betting Picks

It’s one of the biggest football weeks of the season, with Thanksgiving Day football on the schedule in Week 12. In all, there will be 3 games played on Thursday, so keep that in mind when you are getting ready to place your bets for the week. We are going to have one of those Thursday games in our Week 12 ATS picks here, as well as a couple more. This is an important stage of the season, as time is slowly but surely ticking down on the regular season, putting pressure on those teams that are currently sitting between the playoff line. As we have seen all season, it’s never good to get too comfortable, as surprises are always right around the corner. Let’s see if we can anticipate all of that and pick some winners this week so you can place your bets on the NFL Betting Lines.

Week 12 ATS Betting Picks | 2022 NFL Odds & Predictions

New England Patriots at Minnesota Vikings (-2 ½)

This one is set for Thursday night in primetime and is an important game for both teams. The Patriots have suddenly come to life, winning 3 in a row to get to 6-4 on the season and right into the thick of the AFC East divisional battle. The Vikings saw a 7-game win streak come to an end this past week after taking an absolute hammering at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys. They still look to be in control in the NFC North, but they will want to bounce back from what was their worst showing of the season. You could make a case for both teams here, with the Patriots covering in 6 of their last 7 and the Vikings covering in all 5 of their last non-conference games. Slight edge to the Vikings at home.

Baltimore Ravens (-4) at Jacksonville Jaguars

In the NFL, it’s all about winning and getting to the playoffs, style points be damned. The Baltimore Ravens are finally getting some separation at the top of the AFC North after winning 4 in a row, but they have nit always looked particularly good in getting to that point. A road trip to Jacksonville would seem to be another very winnable game for the Ravens, but as the point spread clearly shows, the bookies don’t seem convinced that this one will be a walk in the park for Baltimore. They are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings with the Jaguars, but Baltimore is also 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games overall. Jacksonville has covered just once in their last 7.

Houston Texans at Miami Dolphins (-13)

Most of us believed that the AFC East was there for the Buffalo Bills to win rather comfortably, but after 11 weeks of the regular season, it is the Miami Dolphins sitting on top with a 7-3 record. Staying there in not going to be easy in a division that is proving to be a whole lot more competitive than expected, but you would like to think that they could make rather easy work of the woeful Texans this weekend. Houston is just 1-8-1 this season and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games. Miami has been a bit of a dodgy pick, but they have covered in 6 of their last 7 games played in the month of November.
