2021 NFL Regular Season – Week 13 Odds Analysis & Picks

NFL Week 13

  • When: Thursday, Dec. 2 – Monday, Dec. 6

Dallas Cowboys -4 ½ vs New Orleans Saints

  • When: Thursday, Dec. 2

Both teams are in desperate shape. The Saints are in a much worse shape than the Cowboys. But Dallas blew it against the Raiders. Now, they must beat New Orleans in the Superdome. Because we expect Alvin Kamara to play, the Saints are the pick against the spread.

NFL Week 13 Pick: New Orleans Saints

Minnesota Vikings -7 vs Detroit Lions

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

Detroit had a shot to win their first game of the season. The Vikings had a chance to move into a wildcard playoff spot. Both teams failed in Week 12. Minnesota should bounce back because they’re by far the better team.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Minnesota Vikings

Arizona Cardinals -7 ½ vs Chicago Bears

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

Chicago is a better team with Andy Dalton at quarterback than rookie Justin Fields. But even though Dalton should start, the Cardinals are one of the top four or five teams in the league. AZ notches another win and cover.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Arizona Cardinals

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -11 vs Atlanta Falcons

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

Tampa rallied for the win and cover versus the Indianapolis Colts. That could have taken a lot out of them. If this line were 9 to 9 ½, TB would be the pick. At over 10, the ATL can win against the spread.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Atlanta Falcons

Indianapolis Colts -9 vs Houston Texans

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

The Houston Texans have gotten better and better as the season has progressed. The Colts should win and cover. We must question, though, how mentally prepared they are after blowing a 10-point halftime lead to the defending champs. Texans won’t win but they will cover.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Houston Texans

Philadelphia Eagles -6 ½ vs New York Jets

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

Jalen Hurts blew Philly’s chances to beat the New York Giants. Hurts won’t throw 3 picks like he did against NYG versus the New York Jets. Expect the Eagles to spend most of this game rushing the football against NYJ’s horrendous defense.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Philadelphia Eagles

Los Angeles Chargers vs Cincinnati Bengals -3

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

Chargers versus Bengals has serious playoff implications. The problem the Bolts will have is stopping Joe Mixon. LAC ranks dead last in rushing yards allowed per game. Mixon averages 4.4 yards a carry. If the Bolts cheat up to stop Mixon, expect the announcers to say, “Burrow to Chase!” all day long.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Cincinnati Bengals

New York Giants vs Miami Dolphins -3

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

The Giants are playing well, but Miami is destroying opponents. In Week 12, Miami dominated the Carolina Panthers 33-10. The Fins cover and win their fifth straight.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Miami Dolphins

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Los Angeles Rams -13

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

The Rams are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 and 4-7 against the spread overall. Jacksonville is a bad football team, but the Jags can score and right now the Rams’ defense is a mess. The Jags can win this straight up. Taking the points is the best approach.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars

Baltimore Ravens -4 vs Pittsburgh Steelers

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

Pittsburgh is playing awful. The Steelers have played so badly that Mike Tomlin, a coach of few words, said big changes will happen. What those big chances are, we don’t know. One thing we do know, is that if any coach can turn it around, it’s Tomlin. This is a rivalry game. So Steelers +4 makes a ton of sense. The moneyline is also a decent play.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers

Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs -10

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 5

KC is on fire. But before dumping on the Broncos, we must realize that Denver has covered in 3-of-4. More importantly, the Broncos allow 17.8 points per, which ranks third in the league. Denver can win this against the spread.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Denver Broncos

New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills -3

  • When: Monday, Dec. 6

This is the game to play. The Bills looked fantastic beating an overmatched New Orleans Saints squad while New England dusted the Titans. The Bills got to play New Orleans without Jameis Winston, Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and Mark Ingram. So let’s not read too much into the victory. The Patriots have the better defense. We’re taking a swing on the New England moneyline.

NFL Week 13 Pick: New England Patriots
