NFL 2021 Week 14 Against the Spread Betting Analysis & Picks

As we head into Week 14 of the NFL season, we are seeing teams begin to split off into very specific groups. The top tier teams are all looking to get the #1 seed and the bye in the opening week of the playoffs, while we also have a large number of teams now fighting for their playoff lives. Then, of course, we have a small number of teams who are already out of it and essentially just playing out the string. The next few weeks are going to be crazy as we decide who is in and who will be sitting at home once the regular season ends. It feels as though every game is huge at this point, which is great news for the fans. As bettors, we relish the challenge of trying to sort out the madness and pick winners, which we did last weekend with a perfect 3-0 in our ATS picks. Let’s see if we can do it again in Week 14 so you can get ready to make your bets against the NFL odds.

Week 14 ATS Picks for the 2021 Season | NFL Betting

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (-9)

One team that we know for sure will not be in the playoffs is the Jacksonville Jaguars. They are 2-10 and about as uncompetitive as it gets right now, coming into this one on a 4-game losing skid and failing to do much of anything on the offensive side of the football. They are averaging less than 11 PPG this season, so I wouldn’t go expecting too much from them as an attacking force. The Jags are just 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games and 2-5 ATS in road games this season. The bye week came at the right time for the Titans, who had lost 2 in a row before getting the week off. While they are 3-3 ATS in home games this season, the Titans have covered in 7 of their last 10 meetings with Jacksonville.

Seattle Seahawks (-7 ½) at Houston Texans

As mentioned at the start of this piece, we are at the stage of the season where we have teams either eliminated from playoff contention or barely clinging to life. The Seattle Seahawks fall into the latter category, although at 4-8, they look closer to dead than alive. They did, though, come up with a huge 30-23 win over the 49ers this past weekend, keeping those slender hopes alive, and a win on the road in Houston would further help their cause. The Seahawks have covered the spread in 4 of their last 5 versus teams from the AFC. The Texans have already been eliminated from playoff contention and are not putting up much of a fight, covering in just 2 of their last 7 games.

New York Giants at LA Chargers (-10 ½)

The tight playoff race in the NFC means that the Giants are still considered to be in the hunt at 4-8, but they would also probably need to realistically win 3 or 4 of their last 5 games to get above the line. That seems like a lot to ask of a team that has, at times, looked very poor this season. They have shown some signs of life of late and have covered the spread in 4 of their last 6 games, but they are also just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings with the Chargers. As for LA, they have been tough to figure out this season, as they have been inconsistent. They are, though, coming off a rather thorough manhandling of the Bengals and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games played in the month of December.
