The Thursday night game is arguably one of the best on the schedule this week, as it features two teams who look certain to be in the postseason. The beauty of this game is that you have Oakland Raiders, a team regularly involved in high scoring games, going against a Chiefs team that keeps things tight. The OVER has hit in 6 straight games for Oakland, and also in back to back games for the Chiefs. I think that this is one that is destined to go beyond that 47-point marker.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns – UNDER 43.5

You are looking at two teams with nothing left to play for this season but pride, and two teams that have struggled to score. 4 of the last 5 meetings between these two have seen the UNDER come in. Cincinnati games have gone UNDER in 3 of the last 4, while Browns have gone UNDER in 4-straight. There really only seems one way to go here.

Arizona Cardinals vs Miami Dolphins – OVER 43.5

These two teams don’t meet very often, but when they do, it’s the OVER that tends to be the result, with 4 of their last 5 meetings ending that way. 5 of Miami’s last 6 games have gone OVER, while the same has been true in 4 of Arizona’s last 5 outings. One thing to consider here is that in the recent games that Arizona has played the number has generally been set between 46 and 48 points. Really like the OVER in this one.

Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions – UNDER 43.5

The combined O/U record of these two teams comes in at 8-15 this season, which gives a pretty good indication of how this one might go. Their last two meetings have gone UNDER, with the latest game between them delivering just 31 points. If I had to pick just one game to go UNDER in Week 14, this would be it.

New Orleans Saints vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers – UNDER 51

We have grown accustomed to seeing the New Orleans Saints get involved in shootouts over the years, which means that the O/U bar is often set high in their games. Both the Saints and the Bucs have O/U records of 6-6 this season, but the trend in recent weeks for both has been the UNDER. I think that the 51 points in this one is just a little too high.
