NFL Week 16 Odds & Betting Predictions: Loser Picks for this Week

There are some tempting early spreads in the NFL Week 16 odds on Mybookie and we dive into who we think will be the biggest losers. With playoff places on the line and a crazy Week 15 in the past, Week 16 will have a lot to live up to. Let’s take a closer look at our picks for the sure losers of Week 16 so you don’t miss your chance to bet against the NFL Lines.

Who Are the Sure Losers in Week 16 of NFL Action?

Buffalo Bills vs Chicago Bears (+8.5)

We kick the list off with the Chicago Bears (3-11) hosting the Buffalo Bills (11-3) at Soldier Field. The Chicago Bears continue to find ways to lose, as they have now lost seven straight contests. Justin Fields has been incredible for the Bears. However, the defense has consistently let the offense down.

Unfortunately for the Bears will run into arguably the AFC’s best team. The Buffalo Bills are trending in the complete opposite direction as they hold the conference’s top spot in the AFC with 11 wins. Additionally, the Bills have caught fire at the right time, as they have now rattled off five victories in a row. The Bills won’t squander a winning opportunity against a weaker opponent, and the Bears will walk away with a better draft position after losing this contest.

Cincinnati Bengals vs New England Patriots (+3.5)

The Cincinnati Bengals (10-4) and New England Patriots (7-7) square off at Gillette Stadium in Week 16, and the New England Patriots look like sure losers. What on earth happened to the Patriots? Weird things happened last week in their matchup against the Raiders as Bill Belichick’s team made some uncharacteristic mistakes. Tons of missed opportunities scoring, a blocked punt, and an unnecessary fumble cost them the game against the Raiders last week.

Too many mistakes have caused the Patriots to lose three of their last four contests, and they run into a red-hot Bengals team that is on a six-game winning streak. Cincinnati has been clicking on all cylinder as they have covered the spread in 11 of their last 12 contests. Additionally, the Bengals have a lot more to play for as they are looking to not only win the division but fight for a top spot in the AFC playoffs.

Expect the Patriots to lose their Week 16 matchup.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Indianapolis Colts (+4)

Taking a closer look at Week 16’s Monday Night Football matchup, I’m not sure how the Indianapolis Colts can recover from this one. The Colts raced out to a 33-point lead over an 11-3 Vikings team, and Indianapolis squandered the biggest lead in NFL football history. Jeff Saturday is getting a ton of heat for the loss, and to make matters worse, they lost their best player in Running Back, Johnathan Taylor to an ankle injury.

Not only have the Colts lost four straight contests, they run into a Chargers team that has won two straight contests and three of their last four. The Chargers boast one of the best young offenses in the league, while the Colts have surrendered 93 points over their last two games. Expect the Colts to drop their fifth straight game after one of the most demoralizing losses in NFL history.
