NFL Week 9 QB Matchups Betting Preview, Odds & Picks for Every Game

It’s time to take a look at the quarterback matchups for each game, and we’ll also give you our early NFL Betting predictions for every game as well.

Who’ll Win in Week 9? | NFL Lines & Betting Predictions

Philadelphia Eagles @ Houston Texans (+13)

Jalen Hurts may be the league MVP, while Davis Mills has been a disappointment this season. The Eagles should remain undefeated after this one. It will be another ugly Thursday night game, but the Eagles win by 20.

Minnesota Vikings (-3) @ Washington Commanders

The magic of Taylor Heinicke appeared again last week in Washington’s win over Indianapolis. Kirk Cousins continues to avoid mistakes in leading the Vikings to a 6-1 start. Heinicke’s magic will run out on Sunday as the Vikings win by a touchdown.

Carolina Panthers @ Cincinnati Bengals (-8.5)

We’ll see how different the Bengals‘ offense looks without Ja’Marr Chase. We’ll see if Joe Burrow continues to play well, or if not having Chase will hurt his play.

PJ Walker looked awful in his first start but was great against the Falcons. Cincinnati wins but doesn’t cover the spread.

Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets (+12)

The Jets have started off 5-3. Zach Wilson hasn’t been good since returning from injury, and his poor play cost the Jets last Sunday.

Josh Allen is having a great season, and the Bills look like the best team in football. They go to New York and beat the Jets by 14.

Indianapolis Colts @ New England Patriots (-6)

The Colts just keep finding ways to lose games. Sam Ehlinger may not be the answer in Indianapolis.

We assume Mac Jones will get the start for the Patriots, but we could end up seeing Bailey Zappe as well. New England wins, but only by a field goal.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Jacksonville Jaguars (+1.5)

Las Vegas has been one of the most inconsistent football teams in the league this season. Derek Carr hasn’t played as well as expected.

Trevor Lawrence looked good early on but has struggled as of late. This one is a toss-up, but we’re going to go with the Jags at home.

Miami Dolphins @ Chicago Bears (+4)

Tua Tagovailoa may have the best receiving duo in the league in Jalen Waddle and Tyreek Hill. Justin Fields has started to run the ball well, but his passing ability is still questionable.

The Bears‘ secondary won’t be able to slow down the Dolphins’ passing attack. Miami wins by 10.

Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions (+3.5)

Aaron Rodgers and his receivers seemed to gain some ground in Sunday night’s loss to Buffalo. Rodgers will welcome playing against one of the worst defenses in the league.

Jared Goff doesn’t have his top receiver, and the Lions have to outscore their opponents to make up for their poor defense. Green Bay wins by a touchdown.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Atlanta Falcons (+3)

Even though Marcus Mariota has looked good at times, it’s the pivotal mistakes that end up costing the Falcons. Justin Herbert has been playing with injured ribs and injured wide receivers. This will be a close one, but the Chargers will end up winning by six.

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals (-3)

Kyler Murray has his favorite target back. Geno Smith is far and away the biggest surprise in the league.

The oddsmakers seem to think that this is the week that Seattle struggles. We agree. Take Arizona in this one.

Los Angeles Rams @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3)

Matthew Stafford may be without Cooper Kupp. Tom Brady and company need to right the ship. Tampa Bay will win this one by six.

Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs (-11.5)

We don’t know if it will be Ryan Tannehill or Malik Willis for the Titans. However, we do know that we’ll see a lot of Derrick Henry. The Titans will make things tough for Patrick Mahomes, but not tough enough. Kansas City wins but doesn’t cover.

Baltimore Ravens @ New Orleans Saints (+3)

Could this finally be the week that Lamar Jackson breaks out? Will we see Andy Dalton again, or will Jameis Winston return? We like Baltimore by a touchdown.
