If there ever was a Major Tournament in the sport of Pinball, the IFPA World Pinball Championship would be one.Pinballers play year-round in hopes of being one of the final players to qualify for the IFPA, and only the top 64 ranked players in the world get to do so.

The IFPA takes place over the course of three days in Assago (Milan), Italy, and players from all over the world will be trying to capture the prestigious IFPA crown.

As for wagering on the tournament, you already know MyBookie has all the pinball odds. I’m actually on a bit of a hot streak when it comes to Pinball, having picked the winners of the last two tournaments. If you haven’t tailed, you’ve missed out on some juicy winnings. However, let’s see if good things come in three’s as I attempt to keep the hot hand rolling.

IFPA16 World Pinball Championship Odds and Picks

Raymond Davidson

Everybody loves Raymond and everybody loves winning. I picked Davidson to win the Texas Pinball Festival Tournament and he came through me then and he’s going to come through for me now.

The number one ranked player in the world has had five first place finishes in his last nine tournaments, and if that’s not good form I don’t know what is. The dude is just on fire and there’s a reason why he’s ranked first.

At +700 odds it’s like MyBookie is begging me to slam that. Get off your knees MyBookie, I’ll gladly oblige.

Throw some money on the top player in the world and don’t think twice.

Julio Vicario Soriano

Soriano is another guy I’ll be throwing some money on.

He’s the number one ranked player by win percentage against the Top 250 players. Simply put, he comes to play on the big stages.

With a winning percentage of 84.53%, Soriano is extremely difficult to bring down in head-to-head matchups. Did I mention that the Round of 32 and on will be strictly match-play?

Yea, this tournament was built for Soriano.

Jonas Valstrom

Valstrom is my longshot here. He’s finished first a whopping 28 times in just 170 tournaments which is good for an incredible 16.5% win rate.

With odds of +6500, odds makers are trying to tell me he has an implied winning percentage of 1.5%? Get out of here.

The competition will be tough but Valstrom will come to play. Throw a little side bet on the guy and watch your bank roll rise.
