Top English Premiership, Top 14, and United Rugby Betting Games for the Weekend

Top English Premiership, Top 14, and United Rugby Betting Games for the Weekend

So far, the theme through the first month-plus of the various rugby leagues in action right now has been dominance at the top. We saw it in the NRL with Penrith running away with a second straight Premiership, and now Saracens, Toulouse, and Leinster look like the teams to beat in the English Premiership, Top 14, and United Rugby leagues, respectively.

All three of those top teams should run away with victories in very favorable matchups. We’ll have to look further down the ladder for the best rugby games to bet this weekend. Let’s get right to so you can place your bets against the Rugby Odds

Weekly Rundown of the Top 2022 Rugby Games to Must Bet On | October 12th Edition

English Premiership – Sale Rugby Union FC Sharks (-10.5) vs. London Irish

While Saracens has been the cream of the English Premiership crop for the first month of the season with 20 points, third-place Sale has also yet to lose a game at 4-0 and tallying 19 points.

The Sharks have knocked off second-place Exeter this season and should cruise against London. The Irish continued to add to 0-5 Bath’s misery last weekend, taking a 47-38 victory.

English Premiership – Gloucester Rugby (-6.5) vs. Bristol RC Bears

Bristol has started the season 3-2 and sits in fourth place, but they also have a -30 point differential. That discrepancy has come in the last two weeks, a 30-15 loss to Newcastle and an absolute beatdown 50-14 against Exeter.

We don’t really know what we have in Gloucester yet, considering they’ve only played three games, struggling with last-place Bath last week (21-17) but also nearly knocking off top-ranked Saracens in a 41-39 week two loss.

Top 14 – USA Perpignan (-1.5) vs. Asm Clermont Auvergne

The Top 14 ladder is very competitive through six weeks, with teams 2-14 all within two wins of each other. Therefore #13 Perpignan (2-4) meeting #6 Clermont isn’t the mismatch that it might appear to be on paper. Both teams took their licking last week, with Perpignan losing 52-3 to Stade Francais and Clermont dropping a 46-10 meeting with Toulouse.

Top 14 – Stade Rochelais (-9.5) vs. RC Toulonnais

#2 Rochelle meeting #3 Toulon looks like the game of the weekend across all the rugby leagues. Both squads are 4-2 on the season, but Toulon definitely comes in with the momentum after their 47-0 throttling of Brive last week while Rochelle was losing 29-13 to Bayonne.

United Rugby Championship – Lions vs. Ulster Rugby (-1.5)

A couple of one-loss teams meet up in the United Rugby Championship this week when the 3-1 Lions host 3-1 Ulster. Ulster is the road favorite here mostly because their +65 point differential leads the league, and their lone loss came against undefeated Leinster.

Make sure to check back next week for a full breakdown of the rugby league world cup odds headlined by an England vs France week two matchup. With the World Cup and all the England and France leagues in full swing, there is no shortage of rugby betting from around the globe.
