It seems that this is the day of the late goal, as Iran pulled off the upset by scoring the winner in injury time through an own goal. Had you been following along with our preview picks, you would have cashed yourself a nice winner at betting odds of +300. This was the first win of the tournament for the underdog, with the favorites now holding a 2-1 edge. The Moroccans were in as a ½ goal favorite for this one, so you once again have the underdog covering here to take the tournament record to 1-1-1. It’s still very early in the tournament, but this is the game that set the bar in terms of pure entertainment.
