That leaves this weekend’s games as the last chance for teams to play with their full lineups and make a move up the standings.

The weekend also has a handful of rivalry games on the scheduled with Portland Timbers v. Seattle Sounders and NYCFC vs. New England Revolution among the Saturday contests.

FC Cincinnati put three goals on the board Wednesday night to throttle NYCFC on the road 3-1. This weekend they return home to host struggling Chicago Fire, who played a 0-0 draw in Toronto midweek. Not only does FC Cincinnati lead the East by seven points but they have the most points in MLS with 35 and are one of four teams with a +10 or better goal differential.

Cincinnati is 8-0-0 at home this season while Chicago is 1-4-2 on the road. These teams played a wild 3-3 game in Chicago back in March and last year’s games were 3-2 and 2-1 so expect goals on Saturday night.

Cincinnati is a big favorite at -156 at MyBookie while Chicago is +400 to get a rare road win. A draw is +320 and over 2.5 goals is -142.

Seattle Sounders vs. Portland Timbers | Cascadia Cup Always a Fun Game

There’s no love lost at all between the Seattle Sounders and the Portland Timbers, or their fans. Portland won the first matchup of the season 4-1 in the Cascadia Cup matchup and first-place Seattle will be out for revenge on Saturday.

The Sounders got Raul Ruidiaz back as a substitute on Wednesday night but played without leading scorer Jordan Morris as he prepares for USMNT duty. Cristian Roldan is still out for the Sounders, who have struggled to score lately. Portland is in 10th place but could jump into seventh with a win on Saturday against their rivals.

Portland will be well rested as they didn’t play midweek while Seattle lost at home 1-0 to San Jose. Despite that loss, Seattle is the favorite at MyBookie at +175. Portland is a big underdog at +470 and a draw is +330. Over 2.5 goals has hit in three straight games between these two teams and the odds for that result are -139.

New York City FC vs New England Revolution | Revolution Are Road Warriors

The New England Revolution played a wild 3-3 draw in Atlanta on Wednesday and they stay on the road this weekend as they head to the Bronx to take on NYCFC. The good news for the Revolution is they are 3-3-2 on the road this season and sit in fourth place in the East. NYCFC has dropped to 14th place with two straight 3-1 losses.

NYCFC hasn’t won since April 22, going 0-6-1 in their last seven games in all competitions. Both of their 3-1 losses in the last week have come at home and they have been outscored 13-5 in the seven-game slide.

These teams drew 1-1 in New England on April 1 and last year’s game at Yankee Stadium was a crazy 4-2 win for the hosts. The Revolution won at home 3-0 last September and lead the all-time series 10-8-5.

At MyBookie, NYCFC is a slight home favorite at +113. The Revolution are +245 and a draw is +255. The over 2.5 goals is -127 and under 2.5 goals is +100.
