Many different events can have a severe impact on the WNBA playoff picture. But the Las Vegas Aces seeing Candace Parker go down to an injury after fracturing her foot makes for an interesting wrinkle to the upcoming playoffs. Parker isn’t the player she used to be; she averages a solid nine points per game but isn’t expected to carry the load or her team.
Still, with Las Vegas off to a 22-2 start this season, the Aces don’t want too much more adversity as they seek to be the first WNBA team to repeat as champions since the Los Angeles Sparks did in the 2001 and 2002 seasons. Here’s a look at the best games to bet on this weekend.

While Parker’s absence is a disappointment for Las Vegas, the Aces are still riding a seven-game winning streak where they have won every game by double figures. Las Vegas has covered the spread in five of those seven games. The Liberty are 19-6 this season but have had some bizarre results.
New York lost to Minnesota last week to snap a four-game winnings streak. The Liberty are 10-15 against the spread this season and are 2-8 against the spread in their past ten games.
