When you talk about sports entertainment, you have to talk about WWE. When you talk about WWE, you have to talk about the ‘big three’: WrestleMania, Survivor Series & SummerSlam. We are going to talk about the 2019 edition of SummerSlam, set for next Sunday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Several championships are going to be on the line, so let’s take a look at the matches and the latest WWE odds while making some predictions.

2019 WWE SummerSlam Odds, Preview & Picks

  • When: Sunday, August 11, 7 p.m. ET
  • Where: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Canada
  • Brands: Raw / SmackDown / 205 Live
  • TV: PPV
  • Live Stream: WWE Network

Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins

Here we go again. Lesnar against Rollins for the Universal Title. Rollins defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania, then Lesnar defeated Rollins using the Money in the Bank contract and then WWE couldn’t find a better opponent for the “Beast”. Lesnar signed an extension with WWE weeks ago, so you can expect more appearances and we all know he likes to appear as the champ. Lesnar wins.

Becky Lynch vs. Natalya

In 9 years, the WWE has not taken Natalya seriously, until now, weeks before a big event in her country, what are the chances? Becky is “The Man”, in and out the ring (merchandise moneymaker) and she’s not going to lose the belt against Natalya.

Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton

According to several reports, Kofi Kingston is one of the weakest rating-magnet champions in WWE history, and WWE is trying to change that by facing the New Day member against an active legend. Randy Orton is a part-timer; I don’t think Vince McMahon wants to part-timers as champions.

Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon

If Shane wins, Kevin Owens has to quit. WWE is trying to sell Owens as the new “Stone Cold”, you know, the SOB that goes against the authority no matter what, so you can expect that angle to last a little more. Maybe Shane wins by DQ, but in that case, Owens can protest.

Bailey vs. Amber Moon

Upset alert. For the majority of the WWE Universe, Bailey is a weak champion, and Moon is one of the rising stars at the Women’s Division. It’s time to give h

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Let’s be real, ‘The Fiend’ is somewhat scary, and his reign of terror is only beginning. Wyatt wins, hopefully against the ‘Demon’ version of Balor.

The Fiend is one of the favorites at the latest 2019 SummerSlam Odds.

AJ Styles vs. Ricochet

Upset alert #2. Styles has been working with the OC, while Ricochet has been building a good and healthy relationship with the WWE Universe. Ricochet should be one of the new faces to carry the company on; it’s time to move on from some of the veterans.

Goldberg vs. Dolph Zigler

Dolph Zigler though he signed a contract to face The Miz, surprise, surprise, he’s going to face Goldberg, and there’s no chance for him to win. Look for The Miz and Shawn Michaels to celebrate with Goldberg.

Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte Flair

One of the most interesting matches of the night as two generations collide. Trish will be performing in front of her family, but Charlotte is the better athlete. This match can go either way, but Charlotte should win to continue building the Women’s division around her, at least until Ronda Rousey returns.
