Bellator 288: Nemkov Vs Anderson 2 Betting Lines & Picks for Each Fight

Friday night is going to be a busy one in the world of MMA, and you may need to do some channel hopping to catch all the action. While you may not be able to watch every fight, you can certainly wager on them all. We have already covered the ONE Championship event for Friday, so let’s go ahead and get into the main card for Bellator 288. There are a total of 5 cards set to go on the main bout, and while they are all good in their own right, it is the title fight that serves as the headliner that most people will be paying attention to. The main card begins at 6 PM EST on Friday night and you can catch it all on Showtime. Let’s jump right into action so you don’t miss your chance to bet against the Bellator Odds.

Bellator 288 Betting Preview | MMA Analysis

Roman Faraldo (-217) Vs Levan Chokheli (+148)

The main card begins with a Welterweight bout and a pair of fighters who look to be heading in opposite directions. Faraldo is off to a flying start to his pro career, running up an 8-0 record, with all of the wins coming in the opening 2 rounds. It has not been so good for Chokheli, who is 10-2 overall. Not a bad record, but those 2 losses have come in his last 3 fights. I think it’s Faraldo with the KO win here.

Tyrell Fortune (-333) Vs Daniel James (+211)

Next up is a Heavyweight bout between a pair of powerful fighters, with the likelihood of this one going the distance looking slim. Fortune is 12-2 overall and bounced back with a win last time after taking a defeat. He has won 4 of his last 5. James is a little more unpredictable, going 13-6-1 in his pro career, although he is on a 3-fight win streak. This should be a slugfest, with Fortune getting the KO win.

Daniel Weichel (+222) Vs Timur Khizriev (-357)

Next up into the octagon are a pair of Featherweights in what feels like a fit designed for one fighter in particular. Weichel has a ton of experience, going 42-13 overall, with 3 wins in his last 5 fights. This will be a good matchup against a steady veteran for Khizriev, who is moving up the rankings after getting out to a perfect 11-0 start. This should help him move up a little further, as I like him in a decision win.

Patricky Pitbull (+403) Vs Usman Nurmagomedov (-833)

The co-main event of the night is for the Bellator Lightweight Championship, and I believe we might see the belt change hands. Pitbull comes in as the defending champion, but with 2 losses in his last 3, he is not at the top of his game. Nurmagomedov earned his title shot by putting together a 15-0 record, which includes 4 straight wins under the Bellator banner. I think he takes the title with a submission win.

Vadim Nemkov (+165) Vs Corey Anderson (-250)

The headline event of the night is a rematch for the Bellator Light Heavyweight Championship. A clash of heads in the last meeting led to a No Contest, which meant that Nemkov retained the belt and remained at 15-2. Anderson was on a run that had seen him win 7 of 8 prior to the last meeting with Nemkov. He is in as the favorite on Friday night, and I like him to win the title by decision.
