Georgia Bulldogs vs. Alabama Crimson Tide

This is the front-runner to be the final game. These two teams would have to maneuver the season to make sure the loser of the SEC title game still got into the College Football Playoff and was the third seed, and not fourth, to meet up with the top-seeded winner.

Regardless, this is a matchup that would not surprise anyone. Kirby Smart and his Bulldogs seek their third straight title as they get Nick Saban and his Crimson Tide.

The Bulldogs are the favorites to win it all at +220, while Alabama is second at +560. Most American is rooting for this NOT to happen unless you are in the SEC.

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

The Bulldogs would get a different opponent—this time from the Big Ten. The Buckeyes come into the season JUST barely ahead of their big rival – the Michigan Wolverines for third best odds to win the title.

Ohio State has some question marks, especially at quarterback, where they saw CJ Stroud dominate a season ago.

Can Ryan Day have his team motivated following their loss in the College Football semi-final a season ago to Georgia? That ended up being a much close game than people thought it would.

Georgia Bulldogs vs. USC Trojans

This is a third option with the Georgia Bulldogs. Kirby Smart and his crew get through the SEC gauntlet and win their first College Football playoff game, and then get Lincoln Riley and his crew from Pasadena in the title game.

Caleb Williams is back under center for the Trojans this season, and they appear to be hungry to prove they belong.

The Trojans have a back-loaded schedule, so it will be interesting to see if they can navigate through it in their final season as a member of the Pac-12.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. USC Trojans

On the other side of the coin, you have the Crimson Tide and Trojans—still SEC against the Pac-12.

Still have two outstanding teams and great programs meeting up. Folks that follow College Football long enough would not be surprised by this matchup in the title game.

The Crimson Tide are +560 to win it all, while USC is fifth in odds, at +1425. This would be a fun matchup and would eliminate both Big Ten schools and the favorite – Georgia.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Michigan Wolverines

Back to Nick Saban and his Crimson Tide. This would actually not surprise anyone as well. The Crimson Tide come from the SEC, and the Wolverines come from the Big Ten.

Not many people are talking about Michigan coming into the season. This is a team that fell short in the College Football semi-final a season ago to TCU. They have many pieces back, and there is no doubt they are still chomping at the bit following that loss. 

Michigan has worse odds than Ohio State, which folks in Ann Arbor cannot believe after they won the last two meetings over the Buckeyes.

LSU Tigers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

One more option out there. A third SEC option – the LSU Tigers. Head coach Brian Kelly will see how well his team can stack up right away when they take on the Florida State Seminoles in Orlando for Week 1.

This is not too outside the box thinking as the Tigers are tied with USC for fifth in odds, at +1425.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are +670, vs. the LSU Tigers are +1425. It would be a fun alternative to seeing Georgia and Alabama year after year.
