If you look across all the conferences in college football, there are some that look to be a bit of a slam dunk in terms of winners. While the SEC is somewhat less predictable, you would have a hard time betting against Georgia and Alabama winning their respective divisions and meeting up in the Conference Championship Game. That could spell bad news for the teams in the East Division, which is where Kentucky resides, as they have the monumental task of trying to take out the Georgia Bulldogs, who just happen to be the defending National Champions. The Wildcats, though, are a team on the rise, as they managed 10 wins last season after getting out to a flying start with 6 straight wins. A loss to Georgia, which started a 3-game losing skid, derailed their season, but they come into 2022 feeling good about their chances. Not surprisingly, their biggest games this coming season are against conference foes. Let’s take a look at the Kentucky Wildcats must bet games for 2022 so you can wager against their NCAA Football Odds.
Must Bet 2022 Kentucky Wildcats Games | College Football Betting Analysis
Sept. 10 – At Florida Gators
In college football, a single loss can effectively make or break a season. For the Kentucky Wildcats, that game may well come in Week 2 of the season when they head on the road to face the Florida Gators. Yes, Kentucky beat the Gators last year, but that victory also came on their own field. This will be a much tougher proposition, with Florida looking to bounce back and become the main threat to the Bulldogs once again. This game is absolutely huge, as the loser of this one is going to have a mountain to climb if they want to win the East.
Oct. 1 – At Ole Miss Rebels
The first rankings of the season see the Kentucky Wildcats start the year at #20. The first ranked team that they will face in the coming season is the Ole Miss Rebels, who are ranked at #21 to start the year. Ole Miss is also coming off a 10-win season, with the lone regular season losses in 2021 coming against Alabama and Auburn, neither of which are shocking. Again, with this one coming on the road, the Wildcats are in for a serious test in what might end up being a shootout.
Oct. 15 – Vs Mississippi State Bulldogs
Heading into last season, Mississippi State were considered a pretty solid dark horse pick, but the season did not go to plan, with the Bulldogs stumbling to a 7-5 record in the regular season. That has led to some fans cooling off on Mississippi State, but this is a still a good football team that is going to be tough to beat. The Wildcats need to make their home stadium a fortress and find a way to steal some wins on the road. A win here is an absolute must for any team looking to do well in the SEC.
Nov. 19 – At Georgia Bulldogs
The Wildcats were 6-0 and riding high when they hosted the Georgia Bulldogs last season. They ended up losing that game 30-13 and kicked off a 3-game losing skid that essentially ended all hop of winning the East Division. The reality is that in this division, it is the Bulldogs who have set the bar that every other team needs to try and reach. Going to Athens is a nightmare, and the Wildcats are likely to be going there with the Dawgs looking to lock up their spot in the SEC Conference Championship Game.
