Virginia made a massive leap forward in their second game. Versus Tennessee in their first, the Cavaliers struggled big time. The game happened in Knoxville in front of over 100,000 orange clad Vols fans.

So it makes sense that UVA would lose 49-13. But versus the James Madison Dukes, Virginia almost pulled off the upset win in a 36-35 loss. The Dukes are a Top 25 team. Maryland is 0-2 ATS. The 14.5 line makes Virgina the play.

Also, Florida State must travel to Boston College on Saturday. Usually, BC comes up big at home. But this season, Boston College just isn’t a good team. The Eagles lost to Northern Illinois and struggled for a victory against Holy Cross. FSU rolls.

14 LSU Tigers at Mississippi State Bulldogs

The Bulldogs struggled to beat the Arizona Wildcats in their last. However, U-of-A has a much better team than many realize. The Wildcats will make waves in the Pac-12 this season because the offense is terrific and the defense boasts some talent.

Still, LSU is by far the better team in this matchup. Ah, but Mississippi State has a true leader at quarterback in Will Rodgers. Running back Jo’Quavious Marks is a handful. Marks and Rodgers will ensure Miss State keeps any loss to under the number.

In 2 games, Central Michigan has played terrible football. The 31-7 loss to Michigan State was bad. The 45-42 victory over New Hampshire, although entertaining, was worse because CMU should have dominated their opponent.

Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman has thrown 10 TD’s to zero interceptions, for 731 yards, and is completing 75% of his passes. The Irish should have no trouble getting the win and cover.

The old ball coach might even play Ty Simpson, the highly-touted freshman. South Florida isn’t good enough to stop Milroe, Buchner, or Simpson from leading touchdown scoring drives. The Tide bounce back in a big way.
