Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy and other top PGA Tour golfers head to Austin Country Club on Wednesday to tee off at the 2023 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play Tournament. Scheffler is a +700 chalk to win it all. Will Rahm or McIlroy stand in his way?

WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play Betting Opportunities
Which golfers showing odds from +700 to +1900 deserve looks to win the 2023 WGC-Dell Technologies?
+700 aren’t great odds, but in this case, we can’t go against Scottie. Scheffler is a fantastic pick to repeat as WGC-Dell Technologies winner.
The 2022 Player of the Year is on fire, winning the WM Phoenix Open, finishing fourth at the Arnold Palmer, and scoring a victory at The Players Championship in his last three tournaments played. Scheffler is for sure a top betting opportunity.
If you’re looking for more value, Rory McIlroy is it. McIlroy offers +1200 odds, but his form is better than Jon Rahm’s at +1000. McIlroy should beat Keegan Bradley, Scott Stallings, and Denny McCarthy, his first round Group 3 opponents.
Name the golfers in the odds range of +2000 to +3100 which have the best chances of winning the WGC-Dell Technologies.
It’s a nice setup for Xander Schauffele to get out of his group. Xander had been playing great, finishing a tied third at the American Express and a tied tenth at the Phoenix Open.
But lately the form has tailed off. Schauffele did pick it up at The Players Championship, though, finishing a tied nineteenth.
What’s really encouraging is how Schauffele shot a 68 and 69 third and fourth rounds to end his TPC-Sawgrass run. Xander is worth a look.
At +2500, Tony Finau might be worth a play. Finau faces Kurt Kitayama, Adrian Meronk, and Christiaan Bezuidenhout in Group 10. Tony should have no trouble beating all three of those opponents.
Are there long shot golfers at +3400 to +6000 who can win the trophy? If so, who are they?
If you’re looking to back a long shot, Hideki Matsuyama, Rickie Fowler, and Sam Burns are the top three.
Burns finished sixth at the Valspar Championship last week. Sam has a recency edge since he played last weekend. That could give Sam a big boost in this.
Matsuyama finished fifth at The Players Championship. Like Burns, Hideki’s form might take another positive step forward.
Fowler hasn’t missed the cut in eight straight tournaments played. Rickie finished a tied thirteenth at The Players Championship in his last. Fowler’s form is sneaky good. So Rickie, like Burns and Matsuyama, is a legit long shot to win the WGC-Dell Technologies hardware.
