LFA 160: Sweeney vs. Begosso Odds Favorites, Betting Predictions & Analysis

Another big weekend of MMA action is almost upon us, with several events to choose from for your MMA betting pleasure. We will do our best to cover all the bases, but let’s get started with LFA 160, which is set to go on Friday night at 9 PM EST, with UFC Fight Pass subscribers able to catch this one as part of their package. There are a total of 6 fights on the main card, with a pair of title bouts sitting at the top. Let’s dive right in and make some predictions for each of those fights.

Aline Pereira Vs Chelsea Conner

It is the ladies who get the main card started with a Flyweight bout that is difficult to predict given that both fighters have very little experience. Pereira has had just 1 pro fight, which she lost by decision. Things are not much better for Conner, who is just 1-2 after her first 3 pro fights. This really does feel like a bit of a coin flip, but I am taking Pereira for the decision win.

Aaron Bush Vs Cameron Kinzig

The big men step into the octagon next for what should be a bruising Heavyweight bout. Bush won his first 4 fights as a pro before taking his first loss, which he rebounded from for a win to move to 5-1 overall. Kinzig is a little less experienced, but he is also the winner of his first 2 pro bouts. I like Kinzig to stay perfect with the KO win in this one.

Michael Roberts Vs Josiah Harrell

It’s the Lightweights who are up next, and we have another fighter looking to defend an unbeaten record. Roberts has been very inconsistent as a pro, going 9-8-1 overall, and he comes into this one on the heels of a loss. No such issues for Harrell, who has looked very impressive on his way to a 6-0 record. I think he makes it 7 wins rather easily.

Nathan Williams Vs Cortavious Romious

We have another Lightweight bout up next, and if truth be told, this bout looks to be rather lopsided. Williams has been around for a while, putting together a 14-10 record, but he is on a run that has seen him lose 3 of his last 4. Romious only has 1 loss to his name on his way to a 6-1 record and is the winner of 2 in a row. He should make it 3 with the KO win here.

Dylan Budka Vs Azamat Bekoev

The co-main event of the night is a fight for the Interim Middleweight Championship. Budka lost his first fight as a pro, but has since won 5 in a row, which includes a perfect 3-0 record with the LFA. Bekoev is a little more experienced at 15-3, although just 1-0 with the LFA. He has won 3 in a row ahead of this bout. I think that experience helps Bekoev get the decision win.

John Sweeney Vs Allan Begosso

We close the night out with a battle for the Vacant Bantamweight Championship in what looks like a great matchup. Sweeney comes in with a 12-3 record and a run that has seen him win 6 in a row, including a 4-0 LFA record. Begosso is 3-1 with the LFA and 7-2-1 overall, but his recent form, where he last lost 2 of his last 3 is a concern. I have to go with the hot hand and take Sweeney to win.
