We are 7 races into the 2021 Truck Series and things could not be any closer at the top of the driver standings. That is good news for the fans who love to see a championship battle go all the way down to the wire, although it does make things a little tougher for bettors looking to predict the winner on any given week. It is tough enough to make that call, but with no one driver really dominating the proceedings, it makes handicapping races harder than usual. This weekend, we are in Darlington for the Liftkits4less.com 200, so let’s take a look at the current top 4 drivers to see if any of them can tackle this course and get the win. Let’s jump right into action so you can get ready to bet against their NASCAR Truck Series odds.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series: LiftKits4Less.com 200 Betting Preview

John H. Nemechek +200

Following in the footsteps of a legendary driver father is no easy take, but now that John Hunter Nemechek is focusing his attention on the Truck Series, he is taking the first steps towards creating his own legacy. After making sporadic visits to the trucks, he has raced in all 7 races this season and already has a pair of wins under his belt. Besides those wins, he also has finished in the top 5 in 3 races this season, including his last race, which was in Kansas. Nemecheck has not raced in a truck on the Darlington track, so your guess is as good as ours as to how he will perform this weekend.

Ben Rhodes +700

No driver got the season off to a better start than Ben Rhodes, as he came bursting out of the gate with back-to-back wins. While it was always going to be impossible to maintain that pace, he has come close and has only finished outside of the top 10 once this season. He would, though, obviously like to get back to winning, and you have to say that he definitely has a legitimate shot at doing that this weekend. His last run at Darlington came last season, where he ended up taking the checkered flag. If pressed, I would take Rhodes to win this weekend.

Austin Hill +500

Hill heads into this weekend still looking for his first win of the season, but that is not to say that he hasn’t been good in 2021. In fact, he has been incredibly consistent, but has just not yet been able to get his nose in front and take a checkered flag. After a rough couple of races to start the season, Hill has now gone 5 in a row where he has finished in the top 10, which includes 3 finishes in the top 5. He is in great form at the moment and has to be considered a threat at Darlington, where he finished 3rd last season.

Sheldon Creed +500

The defending Truck Series champion is not having it his way at all this season and heads into the 8th race of the year still looking for his first win. In fact, his 32nd place finish at Kansas last time out was his worst performance of the season after a start that saw him finish inside the top 10 in 3 of his first 4 races. Creed is too good to struggle for much longer, but can he break out of this funk at Darlington? If his 18th place finish there last season is anything to go by, we may need to wait a little longer for him to get back to winning ways.
