Being safely locked into a playoff spot at this late stage of the regular season is always nice, but every driver wants to finish as high as possible, as well as wanting to stay on a good run of form heading into the postseason. He has, though, had 6 top 10 finishes since his last victory, so he is doing a good job of accumulating points.
