NASCAR Xfinity Series: Tennessee Lottery 250 Odds and Betting Analysis of the Race

This coming weekend in Nashville will be the final race in the month of June, which means that we are getting ever closer to the start of the playoffs. There is, though, still plenty of time for drivers to make a move, with 13 races still to come in the Xfinity Series before we get to that first cut. Every point counts, though, and one or two bad races could prove to be the difference between making the playoffs and missing out entirely. The next race up on the Xfinity Series is the Tennessee Lottery 250, which is set to go off at 3:30 PM EST on Saturday. Let’s take a look at the current Xfinity Series odds to see who the bookies like in this race.

Justin Allgaier

NASCAR Xfinity Odds: +320

We have spoken at length in the past about Allgaier and how consistently good he has been in his time with the Xfinity Series. You can’t have that conversation without also addressing the elephant in the room, which is that he has never won a championship. Fans of other drivers would readily admit that they would be happy to see him finally break that goose egg, but can he do it this season? He is certainly poised to strike, as he is currently sitting in 3rd overall. He has just 1 win this season, but there is a good chance he might double that total, as he has a 1st and 2nd in his last 2 runs in Nashville.

Ty Gibbs

NASCAR Xfinity Odds: +330

Gibbs made a massive splash in 2022, winning the Xfinity Series in his first full season, but rather than trying to defend his title, he made the move to the Cup Series. He has dropped into the Xfinity Series 3 times this season, but he failed to win any of those races, although he did finish top 5 in all 3. He did have a pretty decent run in Nashville last season, finishing 4th overall in this race. A win here might help kickstart his Cup Series season into a higher gear.

John H. Nemechek

NASCAR Xfinity Odds: +500

Nemechek has the lead at the top of the driver standings, but he might not be there very much longer if he doesn’t pull out of his current form, where he has finished 10th and 16th, respectively, in his last 2 races. That is certainly not terrible, but it is well off the form that saw him win a couple of races earlier in the season. It does feel as if it’s only a matter of time before he gets back up to speed and back to winning ways, so it might not be a bad idea to take a chance on him at very decent odds.

Josh Berry

NASCAR Xfinity Odds: +690

Berry made a big splash in his first full season with the Xfinity Series in 2022, finishing 4th overall, winning 3 races along the way. He is sitting 5th overall at the moment, but he is also still looking for his first win of the year. Berry is coming off a poor showing in Sonoma in the last race, plus he did not have a great run in this race in 2022, finishing 29th in that one. That makes him feel like a bit of a longshot to me.
