NBA OverUnder Betting Analysis & Picks for the Top Week 24 Games

NBA Over/Under Betting Analysis & Picks for the Top Week 24 Games

At this stage of the NBA season, teams are split off into three distinct categories. You have the teams that have clinched and who are jockeying for seeding, those that are still in the playoff hunt, and a handful that are already out of playoff contention. There is always pressure on players to perform, but that gets seriously amped up at the stage of the proceedings. A poor run of form now can mean the difference between making the playoffs and missing out completely. It can also mean that a team might slip into the play-in, which always ends up being a bit of a crap shoot. It’s a time of pressure for all teams involved, but it’s also the best time of year for many basketball fans. Let’s take a closer look at this evening’s schedule to see if we can pick out some winning O/U NBA Betting picks.

O/U Picks for this Week Matches | NBA Week 24 Betting

Denver Nuggets at Indiana Pacers – OVER 232 ½

The Denver Nuggets are in a rather odd spot in the Western Conference playoff picture. They are in the top 6, but also just a couple of games above the play-in line. While that may seem a little precarious, they are also just 3 games out of the #3 seed in the West. They come into this one having won 2 in a row as they look to continue moving up. On the flipside, the Indiana Pacers season has come to an end after a 4-game losing skid officially eliminated them from playoff contention. The Nuggets have been trending towards the OVER of late, with 5 of their last 7 going that route. The OVER has also hit in 5 of the last 6 visits that Denver has made to Indiana.

Charlotte Hornets at New York Knicks – OVER 225

While there are those who don’t really care for the play-in format in the NBA, you do have to say that it keeps the playoff picture interesting for a good deal longer than it used to be. The Charlotte Hornets are beneficiaries of this system, as they are in that play-in section of the Eastern Conference as we speak. They have an opportunity to create even more space between themselves and the New York Knicks, who are currently sitting below the play-in line. While the Hornets have been trending under of late, that all seems to change when they travel to New York, as they have seen 12 of their last 16 on the road to the Knicks go OVER.

Phoenix Suns at Golden State Warriors – OVER 224

The Phoenix Suns represented the Western Conference in the NBA Finals last season, and as it stands at the moment, they look like a good bet to repeat that feat. One team that they might need to meet along the way is the Golden State Warriors, who are currently backing into the playoffs after slipping into a bit of a funk. In terms of the point total, I think we definitely need to be looking at the OVER with this one. It is the OVER that has hit in the last 6 games that the Suns have played against Western Conference foes. They have also seen the OVER hit in 7 of their last 9 games overall.
