NCAAF 2020 Week 12 Games To Must Bet On

Written by on November 19, 2020

Given that 1 or 2 losses can mean the difference between making the playoffs and missing out in college football, it somewhat goes without saying that every game is huge. This is especially true for the teams that are currently in the top 4 or sitting just outside. At this late stage of the season, the margin for error is basically zero, although some teams are better off than others. Alabama look to be in very good shape in the #1 spot, while Clemson simply cannot afford another loss if they want to be in the playoffs once this admittedly strange season is over and done with. Keeping that in mind, you will find a lot of big games on the Week 12 schedule, but let’s take a look at a few that really stand out so you can bet against their NCAAF odds.

2020 NCAAF Week 12: Top Games to Watch

#9 Indiana Hoosiers at #3 Ohio State Buckeyes

Saturday afternoon begins with a bang, with a pair of unbeaten teams going head to head in a critical Big Ten clash. The Hoosiers are 4-0 and have already knocked off a pair of ranked teams on their way to an unbeaten record. While Penn State and Michigan have both proven to be a big disappointment this season, you cannot take those victories away from the Hoosiers. The Buckeyes have been scoring big and winning easy through their opening 3 games, but this one will be their toughest test yet. This game goes at Noon on FOX.

#7 Cincinnati Bearcats at UCF Knights

If ever a team that does not play in the Power 5 was going to make it into the playoffs, it would need to be this season. There are a couple of teams looking to make that happen, but it is the Cincinnati Bearcats who are in the best position to do so. They come into Week 12 with a perfect 7-0 record and have looked like one of the best teams in college football. They will need to get past a UCF Knights team that spent a couple of seasons trying to crack the top 4. They are not what they were back then, but this is still an intriguing matchup. This game goes at 3:30 on ESPN.

#10 Wisconsin Badgers at #19 Northwestern Wildcats

The Badgers have seen their season put in jeopardy by COVID outbreaks, but they are still 2-0 and looking to move up the rankings with another win this weekend. They will have a tough road trip ahead of them, as they will be up against a Northwestern team that is coming into this one with a perfect 4-0 start to their season. If either of these teams have aspirations of the top 4, they need a win on Saturday afternoon, which is what makes this one to watch. This game goes at 3:30 on ABC.

#14 Oklahoma State Cowboys at #18 Oklahoma Sooners

The Oklahoma Sooners will not be a part of the playoff picture after already losing twice this season, but the Cowboys, who are 5-1, still have an outside shot. A win over a ranked team would certainly help their cause, although they would likely still need more than a little bit of help from the teams currently sitting ahead of them. Playoffs aside, this rivalry game is always an entertaining matchup. You can catch this one at 7:30 PM EST on ABC.
