Why bet on #11 Texas A&M versus #15 Ole Miss?

Since a tough late September and early October, where A&M lost straight up to Mississippi State and Arkansas, the Aggies have rolled to four straight wins and covers. A&M upset Alabama 41-38, put a 35-14 beating onto Mizzou, dusted South Carolina 44-14, and blasted Auburn 20-3 in their last. A&M’s defense has become one of the best in the nation and should have success containing Coral.

#11 Texas A&M at #15 Ole Miss Final Betting Prediction

Texas A&M’s defense has played well in recent game, but the Aggies have yet to face an offensive weapon as effective as Matt Coral. Not only has the Rebels’ signal-caller dominated through the air, but he’s also a great runner.

Coral has rushed for 528 yards, a 4.6 per carry average, and has scored 10 rushing TDs. If opponents try and stop the Ole Miss offense by adding a nickel back, Coral will read the defense and take off with it.

It’s impossible to put an eighth man in the box against the Rebels’ because Coral will destroy the secondary. So either way, the Aggies are in for a tough game.

The fact this happens in Oxford, makes Ole Miss an overlay. The Rebels should be the favored team, not Texas A&M. As long as Ole Miss shows above even money odds on the moneyline, backing the Rebels straight up is the way to go.
